Eric. That's a nice plane from Arrows. Looks like it suits just fine in that field. I know you will get her fixed and back up in no time. Hope you doing well my friend. 👋👍👍
@@payitfwdrcl6171 my friend how are you doing??? Good to hear from you brother. Yes flow some more today before it got hot. Getting use to her. It turns much better on gyro than most do. 👍🏻✌🏻🖖🏻
Hey Eric, nice man, Yeah, those little planes can be touchy for sure! Once she's up back off the throttle to half or so and if your using radio with expo try about 40%-50% expo on the ailerons and elevator. It will need more stick input but much smoother/scale. Look forward to more flights and get that flight simulator going man! Thumbs up!
@@JeffinLowerAlabama I was flying at work and got ready to land and hit one of the trucks. Took the aileron right off. I just put hinge tape on it but didn’t hold. Glue is drying now 👍🏻✌🏻🖖🏻
@@rafaeltorres2886 I don’t know yet what battery will give me a good CG. Maybe 4000 or 5000 6s. Motor, ESC, motor mount, prop, and shaft is all FMS 1700mm F4U Corsair. The motor is on back order till September. Get it ASAP when it comes back in stock. I’ve got to get (4) four more for my B-17.👍🏻✌🏻🖖🏻Thanks for watching
@@reckemroysrc3764 the motor is bad. I had a prop strike and the motor is starting up with a stall. It’s screwed . Got to wait on rc right now, too much to take care of. Thanks for watching brother 👍🏻✌🏻🖖🏻
@@victorrcjets7660 this is a Deep Space Nine, unreleased episode, that shows a Starfleet engineer building the Defiant. Soon to be the most unique Starship in the fleet
I have that Arf nib and it is gold and green. Don't know if it's correct colors. Never seen a gold warbirds. It's a "builder's Arf" but likeable. Beware of tail heavy, likely needs nose ballast
@@eqrc7587 yes I have subscribed TY I assume it will be electric cause the paint is not fuel proof. I find the hurricane is also a short nose needing ballast. So many modelers don't understand that the real airplane measurements are to balance an engine that weighs over half the airframe. So if you build a scale model you need ballast. Defiant has large wing and can handle the weight. RU-vid is full of maiden crashes of tail heavy. It's like an epidemic. Warbirds need nose heavy not balanced even like s 3d or sport plane. It's a big argument but I know it relates to stability. A taildragger should nose over when lifted from table without nudging it. And the upside down balance will trick you that it's good. Look forward to the flying video. Those older arfs were great, especially for the price. I collect them also. It's an art to build them with improvements
@@captainaxle438 it will be electric and also will be a 6s setup so the battery and some more weight should be good. At least the instructions has a CG for her. I’m hoping I can find someone to 3D print the quad guns for me. Got pilot and gunner ordered but out of China. Be a month. Nobody has any stock in US because China is holding out on us to get us weak. We should stop buying that junk and go through withdrawal till Japan and India get us caught up 😃👍🏻✌🏻🖖🏻
@@eqrc7587 I've hear at the airfield that Germany is growing in the model airplane business and making truly quality equipment. There's one called modelpichlor (spelled wrong) that has a website and ships to US. That's what is needed, some competition
@@timmylongfork4491 I’m not really a good pilot. And the bi-planes are not really a beginner aircraft. So it might be a while on those. I usually don’t video flights because I’m at places you should not fly.
Frkn Schweeet…a bit of 3d printing guns and weathering and bammm! Love my old school hinged landing gear. Never fails…lol. Will enjoy the build. Hopefully you’ll enjoy it. Have fun.
