Spoon Fork Heart is an online cooking show that was created in 2015 by husband and wife team, Siri and Joseph Carmichael.

Siri is the face and personality of the Spoon Fork Heart cooking show. She is also responsible for recipe research and development for each episode. Her creative expertise in the kitchen is the cornerstone of the show.

Joe is the primary "tech guy" and responsible for producing the cooking show. He manages the website and social media accounts, and is responsible for developing the business side of the Spoon Fork Heart brand.

We believe that food shouldn't just be eaten, it should be enjoyed and celebrated in all forms and flavors. We believe that great food should be enjoyed with family and friends. In Thailand there is a saying, "Kin khun deo, mai ar roi" (กิน คนเดียว ไม่อร่อย), which roughly translates to, “Eating alone is not delicious”.

I make a sweet and hot sauce. 1 cup sugar 1 cup ketchup ¼ cup of white vinegar ¼ cup of lemon juice 1ts ground red pepper (optional) 2 drops sesame seed oil Mix all i engrediants, heat and stir constantly until sugar no longer has a granular consistency. Cook for around 6/10 minutes to a slow boil . Remove from heat. Add to stirfry or use as a dipping sauce . It will thicken as you heat it.

Thank you. I couldn’t find this episode on the website. I needed a little bit of clarification with the ginger and garlic at the beginning. Do you cook it on low heat or on high heat because initially it says low heat but then you mention high heat I’m confused or do you start low heat and then turn it up to high heat? When? Thanks!🙏🏽
@siricarmichael
@siricarmichael Месяц назад
😅 Yes ginger and garlic cook on the low heat. I said it wrong 😅 Thanks 😊
@booksale5
@booksale5 Месяц назад
@@siricarmichael kap koon kap! 🙏🏽 i wanted to double check because usually with fried rice or basil chicken I usually cook the garlic and ginger at high heat . Thanks for the clarification and videos. You’ll be surprised how hard it is to find Thai cooking videos by a Thai person I think pallin has the monopoly over it!

I like it when the rice scorches a little bit on the bottom. I have to make that sauce, looks tastier than just my regular whizzed up ginger and spring onion
