I'll tell you a tale a tale of heart , so you understand I'll go back to the start. Every few generations a special love arives and the inspiration it carries touches all our lives. This is one such story of a love true sought by many but felt by so few. Where it took place was an old mountain road where the summer's were long and the winters were cold. They met in the spring both hearts unsung. They danced the ritual reserved for the young. Their souls connected that very first night , their was denying it was love at first sight . With her in his arms and him in her iheart the angels gathered to watch a miracle start. He couldn't help but love her the moment they met. For true loves next chapter the stage was set. Even in a crowd all he saw was her , a story book love if ever there were. There in his eyes she saw but one thing a promise of happiness and the joy it would bring. Words could never do justice to what they shared, immeasurable was the amount for each other they cared. He new he'd love her the whole of his life, he married her that spring and made her his wife. Always together like a bird and a tree , forever in love you knew they would be. The following winter was long and supplies ran low so when the Captain called for hands he needed to go. Now six months at sea through wind and storm is quite a long time for a fresh green horn. He stayed the course and was good at his duty but he longed for home and his true lovin beauty. He swore he could feel it whey of him she thought, he'd point to his heart and say right here is the spot. He gathered his belongings and picked up his pay , said his good byes and was on his way. All he could think of was his sweet lovin Jewl , he was growing impatient so he proded the mule. Henery old friend my heart does so ache double your step and some time let's make. Around the last bend the cabin came to view, nestled a hallow where the wind seldom blew. He hurdled the gate and charged the stairs for in the cabin was the answer his prayers. He ran to the kitchen where he knew she would be , but through the back window stood a cross he could see. The fever swept the valley in the fall that year it choose at random so we all lived in fear. He ran to the grave and fell to his knees then he stood and turned and disappeared in the trees. Some years later some hikers on a walk found some words chiseled on a rock. The words he wrote weren't ment to be clever they simply read Nick and Jewls forever. Now it's true that in life we should be happy with what we're given but for some life without love is hardly worth liven. If there's one thing I've learned in all of my years it's that man's deepest sorrow love lost tears...
