A better rod would definitely be easier but I found it still possible with an epic rod. Make sure to use the boost with a tighter line tension as it does more dmg to the fish.

@@Abd_1721 So is it a random chance to catch any of the monster fish at any of the energy spot or do some fish have a higher chance of being caught in specific spots? For example: I cannot find the monster catfish at cado lake and that is the only one I am missing.

@@kylebrackett9800 the same thing was happening to me just keep fishing at the 10 energy spot and eventually you will catch half of the fish that will indicate that a rare fish is near and if it looks like a white monster, that’s the catfish
