This is the problem with metalcore. They'd always write a song in a very high range mixed with scream and then when you see them live sometimes vocalists aren't even able to reach that high notes.
Can someone explain to me why everyone says ZP instead of Zippy? I never understood, and I have tried to do research, but no answers. Zippy is such a cool name, idk why he'd insist on ZP instead
Back when DragonForce was a real metal band. Now they're just making cheesy songs about video games. Warp Speed Warrior sucks so much, it does'nt even sounds like DF anymore. Really disappointing...

Wait. Clicktrack is a bad thing now? I'm pretty sure they've been playing to a click for many many years. At those BPM's you really don't wanna fall or rise in tempo. It's absolutely essential. And don't hate on backingtracks because "iTs nOt rEaL mEtAl". That excuse is so tired and dead

@@passionoflovers They started playing to a click in 2008. It's more of a vibe thing. When you play without a click, everyone is playing together as a band to stay in sync. With a click, everyone is following the computer to stay in sync
@HalfDuck and just how terrible were their live performances before 2008, again? Dragonforce is not about groove and feeling. It's not a blues band. They're about precision and playing as accurately and tight as possible. There is so much stuff going on at all times, and if they're not locked down to a click, everything goes to shit. Again.. pre-2008 Dragonforce was called Studioforce for a reason.
@@passionoflovers Yeah I 100% agree, for a band like this the click works great. DragonForce absolutely kinda suck without click guidance, and it's hilarious, I could watch it all day. Dream Theater were way better without a click though
He is not bad he is just no match for Marc. I mean especially in this performance ZPs voice breaks away several times. In other ones where he is sober it is oc not THAT bad like in this. But Marc got a lot more power in his voice and he can nail and hold the high notes for ages which ZP just simply can't. It's not like ZP is hated he is just not as good as Marc
@@kuroikaelric120agreed that Marc is a better vocalist but you just cant beat ZPs stage presance and generall vibe. Marc often feels kina bland on stage even though he sings very well while if ZP was on stage all eyes were on him
