I thought I'd comment about the Bucs last season schedule and this season schedule. First, was last years w/l record. Games the Bucs can hang their hat on - The Vikings/Packers and Jaguars games. I guess I can put in the week 4 against the Saints. Tennessee Titans. These games, the Bucs had pretty dominant victories. Looking at the losses last year - Lost to the Eagles and Lions, but they kept the scoring down below 30. They lost to the Texans in the thirty range; but also scored in the thirty range. Also, the Bills loss was under 30. Lost to the 49ers and Colts both under 30 points. Lost to the Saints under 30 ponits. So, the D was kind of working; but, we know that our D was not on with Ryan Neal not playing as well as we hoped. Losing to the Colts sucked; how do we lose to them? I remember Sirvacea Dennis was starting because of one of our linebackers being out - forget which one. But, he was not ready to play. He showed some hussle. But, really, losing to a Colts team that was pretty down was a bad loss. I mean at different times, the O was on or off, and the D hung in there despite Devin White and Ryan Neal. Bucs O for the most part put it together late in the season; but, the Saints threw Baker for a loop; he did find his way late in the game, but it was too late. Coach Bowles adjusted away from Ryan Neal, and even started K.J. Britt late in the season(although Devin White did make two really great ints; he continued to be lost in the run game) But, the Bucs D for the most part came up big in the playoff game against the Eagles, and the Bucs O played well enough in both playoff games. For the most part, the Bucs got things going late in the season.
So, last year, the Bucs were playing Cody Mauch, who should have been redshirted; but, he'll play fine this year. They've got Graham Barton who should be asn instant upgrade over Hainsey. The Lg will be pluses and minuses depending on who you put in there. But, overall, I expect the Bucs Oline to take more than one step up; the Bucs O looks to be better this up coming season. The D replacing players on the down side, and guys that are inconsistent. We'll get some players to make a second year jump in Kancey/Dennis/Ramirez and Watts . And, the Bucs drafted a couple of players I'm thinking can make plays in Tykee Smith and Braswell. Also, maybe some undrafteds in Culpepper, Funderburk, Deloach. Don't know if the Bucs will be able to keep them all actually. Bottom line, I expect the Bucs to play much more functionally and with talent up and down the roster, on both sides of the ball. So, looking at this years schedule . .
I can't believe the Bucs are going to lose to the Commanders. They do have some D; but, they might have some problems there in week one anyways. Then, you have a rookie Qb, playing behind a not really great oline. Week 2 has the Lions. A top team from last year that looks to have improved. Bucs might pick on some rookie corners maybe. The O is about the same. Until I see the Bucs really have made the jump from good team to elite team, I have to give the Lions the victory here. Broncos have another rookie Qb. Good coach; well coached team otherwise. Could be a stumbling block. But, I'll give the Bucs the benefit of the doubt here. Week 4 against the Eagles. Eagles should be in top form like they were in week five or whenever against the Bucs last year. But, they do have some rookie starting corners, and we'll see which Devin White we get here. Bucs might win a close one here. Falcons twice in a few weeks of each other. I'm not a big believer in the Falcons. Bucs beat that new Falcons Qb with much better Wr's than the Falcons have. They have a bunch of hbs; Bucs have one of the best run stopping D's in the NFL. Barring injuries, I'm going with the Bucs to sweep the Falcons. Saints? They just lost their best Ol to the season. They have a lot of corners. I'm overall not scared of the Saints. Chalk up a victory there. Ravens - I don't know; i'll just go ahead and give the Ravens a victory here just to assume the Bucs won't win everything!
Chiefs and 49ers - I'm going on the assumption that the Bucs do take the next step and are a better team than they were last year. But, I'll go ahead assume we just split between these two teams. I don't know which one; but, this is a tough two weeks or superbowl contenders back to back. Giants - Giants have some stuff here and there. They've got two good Ots, a Dline with a great Dt and two De's now. They have one probably good corner. I like some things, but they still remind me of the Colts last year; they have some pieces, but really are not a deep team. Bucs should win this if they are who I think they are. Bucs are coming off a bye. Panthers should be well and beat up by now. This side of the schedule is after our Bye week, and when the injuries have hit most teams. I'm going on the assumption that the Bucs are a deep team and win by being a deep team. I'm not worried about the rest of the teams. I expect the Bucs to win out in second half of their schedule as defined by their bye week. I'm counting 14 wins to 3 losses. That should be good for the bye week in the playoffs.
I know you are a Detrot lion s find whin the Los Angeles Rams bet The Lins I am going to be lafin at you the Los Angeles Rams olee dow by one paot I have a very good friend about the Rams up come game
the defense "fell apart" because they had like 6 starters out on IR you scrub. If you gonna say they fell apart at least be honest and say WHY. But to be clear the ravens were not the best team in the AFC since they go smacked by the chiefs who won the superbowl..... you have them losing to pats in week 5 vs a rookie qb AND losing to the colts in week 7 off the bye? Please stop picking dolphins games your picks are trash. Keep in mind you asked for thoughts and comments so don't get upset.
0:33 -- "Then they played real teams and choked" huh? I could've sworn KC is a real team as well as the Bills, as well as Miami, etc... the teams we lost to are the Giants, Washington, and hawks. Those are the great teams?? Lol
This is a bit like someone recorded Any Giants Fan's Rant in Any Bar in New Jersey. For all i know that's your intention. But if you're trying to grow your channel I don't know if this is the way.
wait when has it ever been about deshaun's play? by DVOA they have a similar strength of schedule so that shouldnt matter, and this roster (which was certainly kept intact and with upgrades at some places) won 11 games with 5 different quarterbacks. additionally, deshaun has played the best out of all of those quarterbacks. he didnt get the box score stats but he kept the ball out of harms way better than flacco did.
@@jgsports97 Didn't realized that a QB played both sides of the ball. its a team sport and everyone just puts the record on if watson is good. tunnel vision is crazy
falcons had a 6th ranked defense last season before grady jarrett got hurt. he is healthy now and with kirk and the weapons he never had on offense besides 1 wr we will easily be a 11 win team. we beat steelers and eagles. start the season 2 and 3 already. we will sweep the panthers and either the saints or the bucs. most likely the saints since they should not be as good this season. losing to chargers at home?? umm sure it could happen but not likely. the seahawks falcons have a better team that game will be determined by coaching and teams health but very winnable due to i believe we have a better roster
Wake Up u Delusional Fans DJ is LOZY TRIPS ON HIS OWN 2 FEET TWICE CAN'T READ PLAYS FAST ENOUGH 1 FLUKE SEASON OL CAN'T BLOCK EVERY YR Poor Ownership Bad Decisions They Will Lose Again
You were doing fine until you couldn't remember who Jon Runyan. How is that you young guys don't know any giant history ? Jon Runyan was offensive tackle that frequently went up against Michael Strahan they had an ongoing history together sometimes Michael would win sometimes Runyan would win with a lot of holding
2-2 not 1-3, since you say Seahawks will beat Denver and Detroit and lose to New England and Miami. Personally, I think they can beat New England with their rookie qb, and either Miami or Detroit. So, I am thinking they will go 3-1. With luck, 4-0.
Lol...your argument for who wins is based on tony romo ? this why professionals say stay away from the public when it comes to picks. far better arguments for both teams than the announcers of the game
