Hi , the camera doesn't provide actual internet... it just connects to your phone via wifi. Once you are connected to the phone/camera it still might say no internet connection but that is OK as long as your phone is connected to the cameras wifi network. Hope this helps 🙏
Okay so this seems like a great item but I have a question. On some reviews on Amazon I've seen where people complain that this lens collar has damaged or scratched their lens. Why, from the video it looks really easy and simple?
Hi, In my opinion if you tighten the collar too much...it will definitely damage your lens. But if you are somewhat gentle with it, you will be fine. Also the inner part of the collar has a thin foam lining to avoid getting scratches. Thanks 😊
Hi, you shouldn't have to do this every time... but if you haven't used the camera in a while or your battery has been removed for several hours, it might need to be done again. Thank you

Hi, it's not actually internet wifi , it's just a connection from the camera to your mobile phone using the 'camera connect app'. The camera does not provide internet access 😒
Hello, i have the 55-200,, ef-m zoom lens to my m50 mark II. Do you think that this 100-400m gives a bigger zoom on 400mm with mount adapter, than the 200mm native lens? nice pics, i am thinking to buy this sigma lens.
Hi, you will definitely appreciate the extra 200mm on the 100-400.... it does give it a bigger zoom than the 55-200 but If you do bird photography I would recommend the Sigma 150-600mm. Thank you 😀
@pamelacarter7438 Hi, sometimes it works best if you start everything from scratch...I'm not sure why there are so many connection problems but I find if you start from the beginning...it usually works. Thanks

Hi, thank you for your support 🙏 I will say that it is a great lens but I actually sold my 100-400 and got the 150-600mm made by sigma. I bought the lens on Amazon for about $1000cad the 100-400 was cheaper. Both lenses are great in my opinion.
Hello again so I was having a hard time on Amazon locating the sigma 100-400 for the t7 ? Mostly found for Sony ? What would you recommend for sports the 100-400 or the 150-400 ? Hi, when you go to wifi function and select smartphone chose set 1. Now if you see set 2 or 3 and it says (not Configured) chose one that says not Configured...and as soon as you do the option should be there. If none of your sets say (not Configured) you will have to reset them. I hope this helps 🙏 Thank you

Hi, after you enable the wifi you need to go to wifi function and select phone...once you select phone it will ask you to "choose set" if there is a set 1 do not use it... it is easier to connect if you select the "not configured " Once you have done that there is a option for easy connection and that is where you will find a new encryption key. @EllaM466 for my camera, it was because I had the battery out for weeks and when I started using it again, that's when I noticed I was having issues connecting. You shouldn't have to do it every time though. Thanks 😊
So funny I got the T7 to get the basics of photography and within 3 months had to Upgrade to the M50. I loooooove my M50. The video is much more easier to focus and the M50 is just faster all around. I could marry my M50 lol 😭
I’ve got the canon EOS rebel T7, I had it connected to my last iPhone. Now I’m trying to connect it to my new one which is the iPhone 14+ and I cannot seem to get it connected. What am I doing wrong? I’ve been waiting for two or three minutes now for it to connect and he just keeps saying waiting to connect my Wi-Fi. Signal is good everything ….
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! I watched a different YT video and it was no help. The screens on the app had apparently changed and changed the procedure to connect. I had bought a cable, but it wouldn't work. I was frustrated and then found your video which helped me get my camera and phone connected with no issues. Easy Peasy! I was able to transfer all my photos from a recent trip we took. I am so thankful for your easy to follow video. I'm usually tech savvy for a 63 yo, but sometimes help is greatly appreciated, and this was definitely one of those times.
Thanks for the video. I just bought the ishoot tripod collar for my recently purchased used Sigma 100-400 after watching your video and the collar holds the lens rock steady. I think this collar is preferable to the ones that rotate. I had one of those for my Nikon 70-200 f4 and there was a lot of play in it even when locked. This one holds the lens as though it was part of it.
@Josh's_Photo_Journey After many google searches, I found the setting was greyed out due to the camera being connected to laptop. It wasn't grayed out after I unplugged it. Facepalm moment for sure. Hope this helps others in the future.
