Do they work if van is on dirt or gravel surfaces? I have a gravel driveway and jockey wheel digs in to gravel. None of this video shows van moving on anything other than solid or paved surfaces, so maybe even with this unit, the jockey wheel would struggle if on gravel. Happy to hear any thoughts...TIA
Can the Purple Line Mover be used with levelling ramps? Once the van attempts to go up the leveller the opposite side of the van swings quite markedly the other way.
Unfortunately my van is 2500kg & has to get up a 5° driveway, so the E-Go won't do the job. Maybe Purple Line will make a bigger one someday. I'd like to see a heavier version of the E-Go QuicKey, so I can remove it to keep it safe from rocks thrown up & to keep the van weight down.
I have just installed the Titanium mover and found that when the unit is loose with the 20 mm spacer is in place its ok; as soon as you tighten the unit up the gap must get less because trying to remove the 20mm spacer out from between the mover and the tyre is quite an effort. I suppose that when the unit is loose it hangs at a peculiar angle so that when tightened the angle changes and it forces the 20 mm spacer tighter into the tyre. Not sure if this is an issue but when I tested it it worked just fine.
This is a great devise, is there a recommended maximum weight these motors can safely drive, my worry is the down hill drive going backwards, can the drive slip on the wheels and get out of control?
can you please answer a some questions about this line of wheel clamps . 1 this full stop nemesis wheel clamp, where exactly is it made, I do not mean where is it sold from or where main office is, but where is it actually made (pressed and welded and constructed etc), as in what country and by who ? 2 is the purple clamp metal material a HARDENED STEEL or just MILD STEEL ? 3 is the the actual lock itself fully MADE IN ENGLAND or EU ? 4. I have seen other companies other than purple line selling the identical product to the full stop nemesis with just a simple colour change, nobody seems to be able to tell if THEIR product is made in the UK the EU or infact is made under licence in CHINA ? please answer as I like the look of the product but want to know more details as I am sure do many others looking for a security device.
