Fluffy Guy/Gabriel Iglesias turned comedy into a rock show in Denmark. In 2012, he went to a rural part of Copenhagen and performed for 400 people. After he did the "new" show, he announced that there was some time left. Would we want to listen to the older stuff? Audience replied by stomping their feet in the floor of the hall, screaming as if it was a popstar taking the stage. He was frozen for a good 20 seconds, before he said "you guys are crazy" - you know how he says it. So, he begins doing the jokes that we all know from the early RU-vid days: the gift basket, the cake smoothie - the works. And by each punchline, the audience is roaring it with Gabriel, word for word, as if singing along to a rock anthem. Gabriel had to take several minutes and just take it in, before heading into each next joke. This same thing happened with CR beginning to do live D&D shows. With Acquisitions Incorporated, it was always well-behaved and.. neat, somehow. But with CR, it turned into something much, much larger - and now, here we are: D&D shows selling out entire arenas, just to tell stories with our minds and miniatures. This part of life is fantastic.
Marisha did such an amazing job with her pc this season, and ashly is was a close second for me - but now where the story is now - Chetney is really the star of the show for me.
When Sam said that you can just "get another one" in regards to Ranger companion I got the idea of an (evil) Ranger that is a poacher and just keeps a bunch of caged animals, so instead of doing the usual thing they would (cruelly) send them to fight with no regard to their well being. Especially effective if you have the Trinket "pokeball" so you can have 2 "companions" if needed.
I love that the cosplayers all had dice with them- absolutely iconic!😂 And when that Imogene rolled a nein and everyone collectively lost it🥹💕 I love this fandom so much!!
Wish the cameras could pick up the noise we made😂 so much noise and excitement through the crowd from 8 all the way to 12 these guys were amazing!!!!!!
Hey Dude, It's George the dance battle winner from the beginning of the panel thanks for the video! this is an awesome video and I've subscribed! cant wait to see more awesome videos!
I love that Laura pointed out that there are SO many big red buttons in c3. Post episode 77, I've seen so many people pissed at Ashton for trying to absorb the shard of Raushawn. Was it a bad idea? Clearly, but they had no real way of knowing. I know Matt said "I was VERY clear about what could happen," except he wasn't. He danced around it just like everything else. Tal was right to be confused by everyone's reactions because Matt put yet another big red button in front of the group. As a DM, it makes no sense to put something into the game that you absolutely DO NOT want your players to use. I know Matt likes to let everyone make their own decisions, but when there's a game breaking consequence on the line, maybe it's time to say "if you do this, you WILL lose this character"
2:20 Percy dancing *extremely* enthusiastically to Cotton Eye Joe is something I didn't know I needed in my life until I saw it. That cosplayer wins, not only for the excellent and hilarious dancing, but also for having a D20 on hand to randomly pick the perfect song.
Also, on the HDYWTDT, what I love is that it's spread so far and become so ubiquitous that DMs that I play with who have never watched an episode of critical role still use the phrase, and it gets the same wild reaction from players who have and haven't seen the show alike. Absolutely here for this!
Sam aka FCG I think had a really good one liner in C3 In the earlier episodes " People say goodbye is the hardest word to say, But its actually Worcester sauce" still one of my favorites.
would love to see a fjord and jester wedding one shot, but instead of Sylas coming to kill them it's Celia with a golden dick glued to her hand sharpened into a shiv
I love seeing these 40 yerar old DJs/hypemen playing the cringiest ass music you've ever heard just to warm up the crowd and then the main show is just a bunch of people talking about their fantasy characters LOL
CR turned D&D into a Rock show... I can't believe i got to see it after living through the late 70's and mid 80's and all the Hate and demonizing of the game, too see this now is just amazing.
@@dehro ohh due to the context of her having a tattoo of it it was unclear if you meant her Also if I met someone with that as a tramp stamp id say theyre a keeper lol
Sam trolling Laura about getting another pet bear 2 campaigns down the line is peak DnD content... My mates and I still give each other shit for things that happened in game 10 years ago
