Simply amazing and very inspirational. Rare to find on the Internet such impressive sculptures made out from salt dough.. Question - have you varnished this piece? If so, what kind of varnish?
Sai Baba came alive OMG 😳 so realistic eyes 👏👏 There is no comparison in the world for this unique talent🤩🤩🤩 God bless you and your family for your dedication and perfection🙏.
What a perfection !!!!! Only The God, the Creater can give attention to these minute details. SaiBaba wants to live in this sculpture. Fantastic!!! 🤗👌👏👍🙏
Amazing work! I know it's been some years, but I'd like to ask what you used on the inside. I started making larger salt dough creations last year and have had some issues with them cracking after a few months. I thought it was because salt dough can shrink or expand depending on the air humidity, whilst the glass bowls and jars I used to support them didn't change in size. This year I used aluminium foil balls for the inner structure, baked the project until half hard, removed the foil, then baked further. Hopefully these will last longer. Any tips/advice you have will be helpful and appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Thanks for your message, Your aluminum foil method will work well. If you need to preserve for long, then give a nice spray coat of EDIBLE CONFECTIONERY LACQUER SPRAY (GLANZ-fix) It will disconnect the contact between sculpture and admoisphere
@@karthiartist Thank you for commenting. The jack-o-lanterns I made last october are still alive and well, so I think the removable aluminium foil strategy has worked quite well. I let them dry completely, painted them, and varnished them with regular varnish (hopefully reducing the amount of contact with the atmosphere). The big test will be if these last a whole year.
