My wife Tina, our dog Nutmeg, and I are weekend rvers. The videos are my way of sharing our thoughts about campgrounds and destinations we visit. I also share about repairs I make on the RV and products we use. Feel free to leave comments below the videos and subscribe to be notified of future videos we create.
I do not know where the fuse would be and I currently do not own the RV to be able to look for it. It should be a 12 volt fuse, either in the box with the other fuses or it could be a in-line fuse somewhere in the wiring.
I did not enjoy pulling my dog in a trailer it was boring. I ended up getting myself a sidecar, and I'm having a blast! I feel like a traveling sideshow when I'm out riding my bike from all the attention that I'm getting from everyone. Here's a link to a sidecar that is like that trailer, it fits most bikes. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kMeGysReVbg.htmlsi=G_dOSxgi8IOPHeiw
DO NOT BUY!!!!!!! This company does not carry replacement parts for nearly anything at all. I had trouble with one teeny tiny part on my bike trailer and they said that I cannot buy any replacement parts at all to fix it. It's bizarre how bad of a company this is.
Oh dear. So sorry to hear about Echo. She looked so sweet riding in her stroller. Thank you for giving her a good life. Our pets are family. I know your hearts are aching.
@@BrianSnyderPhotography Aw, thanks Brian. Have you got another dog now? I find that a dog cart is a good option to protecting them from off-leashers. Best wishes from Downunder 🙂
If you "rotate" the connection around so the flush hose is down, removing the strain, doesn't thst point the sewer hose connection up or at least not down for gravity to empty the black tank? I'd use a 45 or 90 degree brass connection or even quick connect; I use quick connects on my camper built-in black tank flush and have never had an issue, and the quick connects seal the hose for storage (no leaking into storage bin). The quick connect solution started when I had issues with the city water connection on my trailer would not seal cleanly and I'd have to crank down the connection, which meant disconnecting the hose also cranking the connection on the camper and i was concerned how long that would go on before i broke the camper connector.. So I just leave the quick connect cranked down on the camper and the hose connects and disconnects easily. Did the same thing at the other end with my "Y" connector, filter, and again, the hose is sealed for storage.
@@BrianSnyderPhotography I refer to the " hooks" connector; where you twist onto the opening studs. If you turn the flush king 90 degrees before attaching the hooks to the studs, the hose connector could be either on the left or right depending if you rotated 90 degrees CW or CCW before attaching. I wondered if the clear portion that is pointing down when the hose connector is at the top (normal), is now pointing other than down.
I did the Rhino first. The on and off switch for the hose broke within the first day. (Blew off and sprayed me. Great experience.) I wanted to return it but they wouldn't take it back for obvious reasons so I bought another one. That one blew off and sprayed me within 30 minutes of the first use. I bought the Flush King and haven't had a single issue. His hose angle is different from mine but I don't see why he wouldn't have just rotated it so it wasn't on the top...
I'm so sorry for your loss. Thank you for this review. I have an old Puggle & Chihuahua and I'm wondering what's the weight requirement for this stroller? It sure looks great! Blessings from Canada ❤
My best childhood place its been through the ringer it used to be the best but now there's nothing for kids but still a good spot wish i could revisit again
I have the 300P RVS and I wish I hadn't bought it. Like you say, you have to run back to the compressor to turn it on or off. I find that to be a major inconvenience. Plus, you don't get an accurate reading on the gauge, which is at the tire, until the compressor is shut off. So, if you need to stretch the hose out the 30 feet to fill your tires, you could be running back and forth the 30 feet to fill your tires the correct amount, turning the compressor on and off. My idea to remedy this situation is to rig a remote switch with a 30 foot long cord between the battery and the compressor to turn the compressor on and off at the tire. P.S. I HATE the slinky hose and I don't use it.
I have found that if I need 65 lbs. of pressure, then while the compressor is running, I quit adding air when the guage says 70 lbs. and I have my actual 65. So when running, the guage is approximately 5 lbs. off. Thank you for your comments.
I am so sorry to hear about your beloved pet. I have just looked at your video and found it most helpful. I too am scratching my head about that bar on the inside. I just got the unit and it Is very similar to yours. I am using it for my 2 cats. Hope it works out. I live in Toowoomba Queensland Australia. Thank you for your advice. Best Peter
Thanks for your comment. The buggy worked fine without putting the bar in each time we used it. After Echo passed away we have gotten another dog and he does not need the buggy, so we were able to sell it to someone else so it could help another aging pet.
No I do not and I do not own the trailer anymore. You should be able to contact ETrailer.com to ask about the part number. I did remove the motor once before ordering part and I could have gotten the number from the old motor.
Great video, give’s a great insight to a problem I’m sure to have. That being said, I use times like this to buy the tools I don’t have. It’s the best way to build your tool chest. 🇺🇸
What were the symptoms that made you go with the housing? My motor keeps kicking out shortly after I engage the switch. I wait a few minutes and it engages again.
Thanks for the question. I noticed the motor jumping when engaging the switch and when I looked at the motor and gear housing closer I noticed cracks, so I decided to replace.
Had a brief encounter with a girl named Joey who lived in Coshocton around 1975. I met her at Clear Lake State Park in Northern Michigan. Her and her mom had a store in the Village. I remember we went to a cavern in the south. 3 of us fitting in a 1971 MGB. It would be nice to talk to her again.
It was so very kind if you to post such an informative user video. I just picked up one is these on Craigslist for $50. But it did not come with a manual so your video is invaluable. Thank you. I am very sorry for your loss. It is so heartbreaking when we lose our canine companions. Blessings to you.
I've been looking for something to take my dog with me because he's older now then your two in one It will be to use about the 11-11-22 can't wait to get it thanks
Our experience with our 52 lb. Echo was that when she could jump into it we occasionally needed to put a foot on the front wheel to keep it from tipping back. But after we were placing Echo into it we had not tipsy problem loading and while she was riding. Now Echo did like to lay up in the front of the buggy so she could see us. So it may depend on the dog and if they like to keep their weight to the rear that could cause some tipsiness.
I will say I put it in once and it was very tight. We found we did not need it for support and structure. Plus if you collapse it down often it is a pain to remove.
