John Taylor and Dai Morris what a great pair of flankers they were..world class they never seem to get the recognition they greatly deserved..but the other team players were very aware I’m sure…I’ve heard the great Gareth Edwards speak very fondly of both of them…

he's right, if the ref doesn't do his job the players have to take things into their own hand.
@trophymursky
@trophymursky 7 лет назад
you're missing the point, he isn't arguing the card. he's saying that the other team was doing sketchy things that weren't getting called and if the ref wasn't doing his job then players would have to do sketchy/potentially dangerous things back.
@LloydRichardsMusic
@LloydRichardsMusic 7 лет назад
Eli Murphy-Trotzky no they don't , you never take the rules into your own hands as a player , rugby works because of this. If you really want players to all start voicing their opinions and doing things just because they feel hard done by by the ref then the game will look more and more like football. So no, you're wrong. Even if he had a problem that's not the way to go about resolving it , the refs word is final and that's that. If you don't respect that, find a sport that's more suited to your petty little complaints
@trophymursky
@trophymursky 7 лет назад
It works if the refs do their job. If they refs do their job properly players don't need to take it into their hands. If the ref doesn't do his job then the players need to take things into their own hands.
@LloydRichardsMusic
@LloydRichardsMusic 7 лет назад
Eli Murphy-Trotzky are you not fucking listening. Even if the ref makes a bad call or misses something , the game goes on and the players can't do anything. That's just how it works , being a little bitch isn't going to solve anything. A player should do his job properly by your logic , which is play to the rules , not take matters into their own hands when they feel done in by the ref. Learn some respect
@trophymursky
@trophymursky 7 лет назад
First off if the ref does his job then the players can do their job and play within the rules. If the players are able to cheat/be cynical and get away with the ref doing nothing (because the ref isn't doing his job) then players hitting them back/stamping on them shows the team that their actions have consequences. It's just like the enforcer role in hockey. It solves a lot.
