What is the measurement on the front deck by the recessed tray across from side to side? Or close to where the sides of the boat stop and the tip forms.
2023 owner here. Nice upgrade on the dash. Not really a fan of the new floor and graphics. Still the best floor plan of any pontoon I've seen on the water. Cheers.
Nice video of the 2024 Ranger 223FC! My wife and I have a 2022 Model and with COVID it took 18 months to receive it last year. New dash does look great with off set graphic instrument panel (we have gauges), curious on how it will look in direct sunlight and reflection (maybe on a titling panel ??) should accommodate fishing graph very nice. I do wish the main power switch is located better. We just turned 65 and on ours the switch is not kind to the knee’s, so we had to have it moved to behind that bench seat. O’ I do like that new floor design covering. Your customer’s are going to have lots of fun with new new updated model.
worst floor plan on any 19 footers made ---Ranger needs some serious updates to the layout-- my new 519c is terrible to store anything in. rod tubes suck and too hard to remove
@@jpaul4788 rod box giant but has tubes that make it useless. the center box has tubes but is useless, the starboard box is too short and cannot carry a normal oar or a lure retriever pole either. if the tubes were just a big opening like the 520-521 it would be so much better. the starboard compartment needs to go way up under the frt deck also. live well is way too big and takes room from the rear storage area also. the cockpit area is oversized and my 5"9" self cannot reach the hot foot and barely the steering wheel. had to move the wheel back 3.5 inches and hotfoot about 3 to drive safely. it is just not planned out well. Look at a caracal for a great floor plan
@@mikethetoolman8776 that’s a bummer, you paid a lot $$$ , for that boat, I watched this video few times , I see what you talking about,I have my old 19’ foot 06 nitro that i really like the floor plan, 3 center compartments, all new boats have 1 compartment. In the center, I just looking at new boats 19-20 feet, thinking of buying new before I retire in 2027, I just want to make good choice, thanks for your feedback, a lot of people would not say that about something they purchased,& payed that much for $$$ ,
Agree with the pistons Glenn. I bought mine back in august and made notes for the improvements I'm looking at when I upgrade. The so called windshield Ned's to be just that not a piece of plastic put on top of another piece of plastic. All rangers need to have the recessed trolling motor pedal, mine does not. My 60hp engine also requires me to pump the fuel with a bulb before starting, again another old school process that needs changing. Now with that said my 178c is built very well and the workmanship on the welds are perfect. All in all I'm satisfied but I feel not only Ranger but all boats are well over priced . They are considered a luxury item therefore you will pay a luxury price. This boat looks to me it would retail around the 27k range which is a lot of money for an aluminum boat. It is what it is and you buy what you normally want instead of what you need. Looking to upgrade to the 188rt with the 115 4 stroke myself. It isn't what I actually need , it's just something I want. Thanks
Just purchased the 178 yesterday but was a big fan when looking at the 188. Unfortunately, my garage isnt long enough to fit the 188 or would have taken that one
Will the front of the Bimini have support for when you’re under way? Or will you have to lower it? I’ve ordered the 223FC just waiting for it to finish building
