On my Raleigh Kodiak 2 I just missed the fit. Xl frame would have easily accepted the 20 ah sharkpack so I mounted it under the down tube. I have plenty of clearance but still 🫤
My Volcano EXP Pro was spitting out dog bones in every corner couldn't find anything broken or warn I added a piece of fuel line at the diff and the axle is now fine.. Great tip thanks.
Old video, but, as a Kaiju fan, I gotta say, great work with what you've done here! I got mine a few months after it was released, and I've been upgrading and modding it ever since! But it still has stock electronics! A testament to the durability of the ESC, motor, and servo!! I do plan on swapping out these components as they fail, but probably going to boost up the servo to a 35kg just to give me a bit more punch turning. Great work here, I will be looking through the rest of your videos later! I subbed because of this video!
Probably some semiconductors failed. Replace the fuse and it will just blow again. Could be caused by a power surge, lightning etc. Repair maybe possible but it’s not trivial.
I ALWAYS use a high quality surge guard on major appliances, such as fridges; TV's, Blu-ray players, radios, high fi equipment, washing machines, dryers, anything of value. Your fridge is operating 24/7.
If the fuse went, there’s another problem The fuse blows when too much power is drawn through it, it’s designed to fail when too much power is being requested, as a fail-safe to not burn your home down. If that fuse blew, something is asking for more power than it was designed to and this other component is likely the problem. Check your caps next to the primary, are they shorted? You could use a cheap multimeter and check every component, cross reference the specs and tolerances when you look up the parts and you’ll see what’s failed and you’ll be able to buy replacement pieces, all in probably $5 plus the cost of $20 soldering iron and the time it takes on RU-vid to feel comfortable enough to try it on your own What’s the worst that can happen, the board is already bad, or send it to a repair shop if you just want it fixed.
Just get a bracket holder that holds it to the frame with hose clamps costs 20 pounds it might look at bit weird being on the top of the frame and be little top heavy but it's better than nothing
Once you go recumbent... I've ridden over 100 mile straight several time on recumbents. I couldn't do that on a coventional bike. My body couldn't take it.
My MAXX v2 is 3months old and got the blinking lights of death however the hobby store changed the connection to EC5 so not sure if warranty will work for it now
