When using a more complicated embroidery stitch, such as the last one you chose, how do you get the beginning and end to match up?

This is one of the best videos I've watched with great explanations, illustrations, and clarifications. You are very thorough. Thanks for making the video, even 3 years later it still has value as if it is the day you've filmed it. 😃

I see that the foot looks like "old style" with the two prongs but your machine is a newer machine. So does that mean I could buy the old style for my 790? TIA

Thank you so much - I just got this foot to do thread painting - as a bonus now you have shown me how to do a monogram on my regular Bernina. I really appreciated your instructional manner as well.

I found out the hard way that with a 60 weight needle that I CANNOTuse my needle threader so when I use that needle I have marked the package do not use needle threader and I put a small sticker over my needle threader button just in case I do as a reminder not to.

Would this foot work for appliqué on my 570QE? Just wondering because of the 9mm?
@pilkjaer
@pilkjaer Месяц назад
Of course it will. The machine will limit the maximum width that can be used based on your selected foot. If you need 9mm satin you can always use 20D that came with your machine. You can test and select 1315 stitch. If you choose foot 1C or 20D you can see that you can make it up to 9mm wide but if you choose foot 23, it will be limited to 5.5mm.

I appreciate this video and even your wonderfully sweet voice! Some unsolicited advice is that you let us know the name of the stitches you proceeded to use from the machine beyond their numbers. My machine has different numbers than yours, for the same stitches. Thank you!
