Hi this is my first time here. Interested in starting my scrunchie bus. Can you do a profit break down . . Thanks for the information. Your scrunchie. Business is awesome. Very encouraging. Marilyns.God Bless.
If you can not afford to do custom fabric I know Joann, at least our local, does remnants for up to an extra 50-75% off. For around a yard or less, so there are easy, quick and something you can use to test out sizing and fabric types.
That depends on how you price your scrunchies. I was able to make a profit from my first sale since I didn’t have to spend much money buying supplies and a machine.
Yes, I created my website on Shopify and I used Etsy at the same time. Now, that I don’t make as many scrunchies as I did in the beginning due to not having much time I only sell on Etsy primarily.
Hi, I just started making scrunchies. can you tell me the length and width of xxl, medium, small and xs scrunchie and also the size of elastic you use. is it 9 inches or 10 inches
Hi, I don’t give out the measurements for my scrunchies as it was a lot of trial and error to get them to the exact size I wanted. I do however use 10.5 “ of elastic.
Thank you for sharing this informative video! I would like to see a craft show tip video as well. I like making scrunchies too and am pursuing to make it a business 😊
What about the elastic cord ? Is this an option? I found 1/8” cord elastic and it seems sturdy with great strength ability. However I’m super new to scrunchies
I googled on Facebook about scrunchie business and the first video that popped up was don’t start a scrunchie business by none other then you lol, then 2 videos down it’s Start a scrunchie business with me 2023. I wonder what changed in 2 years for you.
The "Don't Start a Scrunchie Business" video actually doesn't encourage making scrunchies. It talks about adding other items in addition to scrunchies to your business. The title name is more of a "clickbait", to get views to explore why I'd say that in hopes of them thinking bigger than scrunchies only.
but as a scrunchie I like my scrunchies kind of a tight elastic to hold my hair better, so wondering the really stretchy elastic that stretches far are those very tight and will it hold the hair well?
Hi I have a child with autism and just trying to start a scrunchie business and I do only with fabric waste. I go to the local tailor and get the fabric scraps and use them. So there’s not really repetition in designs but I love it to stop fabric waste. And I only sew during the first half of the day say 3 hours. And like you said I’ve kept Monday for cutting, Tuesday to make the tubes, Wednesday to rope in the elastic and Thursday to hand sew to close them. I like to that as I don’t like to show the stitch. It looks neater for me atleast that way. I love your videos, I’m learning a lot about elastics and everything through your videos! Thank you!
