So what was that grunt doing, that he got hit by that jackle? The way hes breathing sounds like he was hording idk oxygen or something which then the jackle found him or maybe he was just doing his job and the jackle was being mean to him like any other jackle do to any grunts

My therory: the San Shyuuum knew the truth about the Halo rings but after Forerunner tech turned their people from “beautiful Godlike beings” into feeble diseased testicles they became Efilists due to having absolute power and still having a 1/10 as their most memorable intimate experience
one of the thing I loved about these terminals that it gave us some insight to how blinded the religion the covenant had around the forunners and how the prophets used that to stay in power

Thel Vadamee the commander who lead the fleet of particular justice after he failed to prevent master chief from decimating and damaging the ring was ordered to return to high charity but since after his objective was disrupted the prophets made a example of him brandishing him a heretic striping him and his titles and ranks than delivered to the prophets to take up the mantle of the arbiter and you know the rest. This is just for any fans who are new to the series and wanted to know how the events came about during halo 2s story

He grasped QUICKLY the implications of the situation he found himself in and reformulated his plans accordingly.
You have 666 likes, I wanted to give another like but I just cannot change it. I love Sesa Refumee, the heretic leader. I wished Halo Infinite had more of these kind of story telling. Right now it does miss that a lot. The Banished is awesome but the story telling is very bad. Thanks for the upload!
If only he had kept this knowledge a secret and spread it to others in various ways, Sesa would have been quite the hero of his people. In the end, he still was.
What's the lore behind the armour "The Heretics" wear? I always assumed it was a modified version of the Ranger armor designed for hazardous operations
I could watch this over and over again. Two very intelligent characters just simply having a conversation and collecting answers. It really shows how manipulative and dictating the prophets were.
Something really cool that I hadn’t realized about the Heretic elite faction is that they painted all their stuff in the colors of Sanghelios, to represent their split from the Covenant. I had always just assumed that they were a special covenant detachment that painted equipment in those colors.
How i would have had The Heretic to go: Given that Sesa Refumee has deemed Thel Vadam his friend, it would be more fitting if he hadn't shot at Arby first. When the Arbiter sees Guilty Spark, the Heretic and Spark explain begin to explain to Arby about the Halo array and how the Great Journey is a lie. However, mid way through, Tartarus appears and opens fire on The Heretic. The Heretic, enraged and thinking that his friend, the Arbiter, has betrayed him and led Covenant reinforcements over, proceeds to open fire on the Arbiter and Tartarus's phantom. Tartarus flies away and the Heretic and Arbiter engage in the same mini boss fight they have in the game. In his dying breath, he warns Arbiter on the Prophets' true intent, and to be wary of the validity of the Great Journey. Guilty Spark repeats his same lines as in the cutscene before being magnetised by Tartarus's hammer, who has now landed his Phantom. Tartarus drags the Heretic's body, and throws him over the platform. The story continues the same exact way, just that this expands the "friendship" between Sesa and Thel, as the former mentioned in the cutscene. Additionally, the Arbiter has more of a reason to doubt the great Journey, and doesn't simply switch sides jsut because the Gravemind told him to
@@deagle.2 cos a) the arbiter helmet covers practically 5/6s one's face, b) there doesn't seem to be much that distincts Thel from other sangheili when it comes to faces, and c) Rtas is wearing what looks to be goggles over his eyes
He wanted to free his people, to free Sanghelios from the Prophets. He died trying to tell the truth, and yet it was carried on by his people’s champion, Thel Vadam, the Arbiter
