You’ve found the channel that contains all the videos created by The Baltimore-Washington Annual Conference for its online church resource area: The BWC Ministry Toolbox. This is designed for church leaders-lay and clergy-who seek to improve their ministry. Go to bwcumc.org/toolbox and search for the tool you need right now to build, tear-down, or repair in the areas of Spiritual Leader Formation, Congregational Formation, Community Transformation, or Administration & Operation. Additionally, you may find inspiration in the Sermon Studio and take an e-Course or two. Eventually-with your help-it will contain good answers to all of your ministry questions in a fully searchable format.

The views expressed in this resolution and this video do not reflect the position of the Baltimore-Washington Conference, as this resolution was opposed by an overwhelming majority vote of the Annual Conference on May 30, 2024. By opposing this resolution, the Annual Conference affirmed women's rights to reproductive freedom and access to medical care.
Amen ,I'm a Evangelist and go out soul winning often. I wish we had awards like this .such a great incentive to continue sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with the world. 🎉🎉
I just watched a video on RU-vid with Methodist ministers on a panel saying they think the pews will fill now that they changed the rules but if that were true would not the Episcopalian church be full , then I see traditional churches filled, I not understanding
I Love my Pastor ❤Williams... She is working hard to bring the community to follow The Lord and other non believers who had doubts are worshipping like no other. Pastor Williams says come as you are, GOD Loves you regardless of any imperfections, you are his child and come unto him and Pastor makes you feel wanted ❤❤🙏🏽🙏🏽❤❤🙏🏽🙏🏽
What is the value of continuing to move the pastors around and why did they do it in the first place? Do you think other denominations are at a disadvantage by not doing this? It's certainly not financially good for the pastors if they have to sell real estate and pay the taxes on these gains and the mortgage rates have increased so much, that it's not a good time to take out a new mortgage. Pastors aren't known for making lots of money, so this can be especially detrimental financially to them. Moving is also a pain and hassle, so I wouldn't enjoy moving around if my job forced me to do it.
It’s a time-tested tradition that harkens back to the work of early circuit riders in the colonies/early states. It is very much in our Methodist blood, for better or worse. Most churches also (though less and less these days) still utilize a parsonage, something that in theory makes the moving issues you mentioned-all valid!-a bit easier to navigate. Itineracy is a way to (hopefully) keep stagnation out of our churches. As a UM clergy person myself, I think it only half works. For clergy who are bad fits for congregations, it provides a quick swap with another pastor with minimal transition time. Some churches in other denominations wait years with interim pastors before finding their next leader. I will say if you look across pews in our churches today, I’m not sure it’s as effective as it once was. This change by BWC is intriguing in that it may aim for better suited and longer appointments.
A whitewash of true intent of BWC which appears to change the polity of church and disregard the Discipline in order to adjust to the sway of the current society.
If you support LGBT you are not the Church of the living God and his son Jesus Christ you are the synagogue of Satan you need to repent come out from amongst and then be separate saith the Lord Jesus said I didn't come to send peace but a sword that would go by to clean from the Unclean. Shame with some of these churches have become. Also never read in the word of the Lord where God ordained women bishops.
Thank you thank you thank you. This was awesome. Especially the q&a portion. I hope I can translate all you have in info to the folks that may ask me questions. Praise God!
What she is saying sounds a lot like a threat. Hopefully the true believers of Jesus Christ will leave the church and take their money with them and leave this woman and other like her to follow Satan as they are doing.
You and you fellow conference commissars will have to answer for what you are doing to God's churches. Have you considered seeking His will, instead of imposing your own on the churches in your care, in defiance of the church polity?
