@@YakHuntersOFFICIAL I don't even know how to turn on side scan. Do all Helix 8 fish finders have side scan or do I need a special transducer? Thanks man
It would be really helpful if the volume levels between the speaking sections and music clips in these videos were normalised. When playing on speakers, if I turn them up to hear the presenter, it blasts at the music sections.
hello thanks for the video. really helpful as i have a kayak and i just bought a dual cab 4wd with alloy tray and ladder rack. was looking for some hints on how i could load it. how do you tie it down? do you secure it at the back and rear or just tie it down to the racks?
So when you twist the string 7 or 8 times around then slip the end of the string inside the eye its' considered a Clinch? I think thats proper discription@@YakHuntersOFFICIAL
there are many situations where a certain knot is either better to use, easier to tie than others or like me, I always have a fall back knot when i tie leader to braid which is the FG, Keep an eye out for that video coming soon...
Video related I love my lil Malibu mini x kayak, it was real cheap on sale from bcf (unavailable now tho I think) and light weight (I carried it over my head from carpark to beach many times, I have wheels now so I can take it with my gear on it now) but yeah nice lil kayak, sturdy, fun, I wouldn’t swap it for anything else 👊🍻🥰
Hey bud, was just wondering if u had any recommendations for budget action camera style setup for using on a yak? I read that the newer go pros and stuff are supposed to be great for stabilisation but curious for yak Hunter guys opinions on if the prices make a big difference or if its worth just getting a 200$ action cam and mounting it to the yak itself or hat mount… maybe a video on some different ones would be good 🤷♂️😉 I dunno, would love to hear ur opinion 🍻🥰🫶
Hey mate, I’ve actually started out using my iPhone believe it or not, and only just started with the Go Pro Hero 9 Black a few months back. I can’t really compare the less expensive cameras to mine. I think the quality of the footage the go pro provides is excellent especially 4K and 5K. I’ve used the chest mount and boom mounts almost exclusively. I just bought a head mount and even I got dizzy watching the footage of my first time using it, I move my head around a lot 🤣🤣 I suppose you could experiment with a cheaper camera and build your system up and add a higher quality camera to the mix so you have your static mount and then for shorter scenes use a cheaper one mounted on your chest / head? Hope that helps. I’m a newbie to this as well 👍🏻
@@Yaknmattkayakfishing thanks bro! 👊🍻 I think the 9 I did see good reviews about the motion stabilisation… I don’t know if I need 4K footage, but I guess it is what everyone is doing nowadays 🤷♂️🍻🥰 I appreciate ur comment
@@JakeDogg-RIPno probs mate, you can adjust the resolution back to 1080p which is more than adequate for small screens. 90% of my viewers watch on a mobile device.
Matt has answered pretty well, I started using the cheap action camera, it was built into the waterproof housing, audio was dismal and picture quality was very lack lustre. Moved to a hero 3 back in the day and now I use 2 hero 8's and a hero 5
nah not to bad, I only really get a sore back once i have been out more than a few hours, but i can stand up in this yak, so stretch every now and then
they are yak hunter fishing pants, very breathable and dry extremely quickly. perfect sun protection for the legs too. If you head over to the Yakhunters web site, check out the shop, we sell them in there
