I LOVE BIKES ITS ALL ABOUT MOTORCYCLES and i love restoring bikes bringing them back from the dead my motto is if you can't afford it make it your self when I was a young boy I would go to the local tip to find bicycle parts and I built my very first pushbike in my bedroom. But then came along the Honda ss50 the suzukl ap50 the YAMAHA fs1e and the garelli record and that's when I fell in love with something well out of my price range, Japanese Motorcycles. I also love playing old rock music on my electric guitar.and using my guitar for the backing tracks on my video's.
Thanks 👍. At to leave for London on Tuesday so won't be getting a lot done for a couple of weeks or more . But still got a few videos in the pipeline. 👍
hi . nice video with no BS. my astra gtc 2.0cdti sri looks like it has the same engine as this . do you know the model this gearbox is? as mine is hard to get into 1st and reverse so was going to try to add more new oil in . cheers
Hello friends, I am changing bearings on my 1994 CBR 1000 F from the lima alternator but I can't get the stem into where the nut fits. Please someone show me a video. Thank you.
Great video, i'm most likely going to use it during my rebuild. I've changed my engine for my spare one and first one need a check up, this will be very helpful for reassembly.
Question about fault timing chain adjuster, do all CBR1000F hurricanes come with it or just a particular year? There's a 1991 CBR100F in good condition near me and i'm interested in it but worried about this issue
@@jonyr1TT I went and test rode it today but ended up not buying it because it couldn't hold idle when warming up even with the choke fully pulled back, it rattled from the front and also because it was very heavy. What a bummer, it looked good and ran good after being warmed up 😔,it just wasn't to my liking...
great video. did you do a close up of setting up your carbs ? i got 3 sets of cvarbs for my 88 cbr 1000f and all are no good . 1 set is in need of gaskets etc , 1 is missing the T parts for fuel in, and 3 set is all new gaskets etc , but they start to leak if i put some pressure on the liquids/fuel going in :p
Thank you sir, i'm looking to get a bike for touring and i found a 2000 XJ900S for 1400 pounds and i was looking how to change the oil in case i get it
I had a Lucifer red tiger 955 and it was a great bike, a bit heavy and did decide to have a little nap, twice! Thank god for crash bungs. I do miss it as was a real beast with loads of power. Must admit I do miss it as changed last year to a 800 tiger. 😊
If you ever get bored ill drop you off my tiger 955i, not been started in 10 years and I'm not sure where to start. I'm only a few miles from you in sunny Worksop 👍
There's nothing wrong other than the things that will have gone with age, I know the brakes are seized on like yours were but it was mot'd and ridden but then put away when the kids were born and not done anything to it since. I've bought the tyres, brake rebuild kit and new hoses, oil etc but haven't got the time atm to do it (or the knowledge if I'm honest) 😂
Ok yeah sounds right up my street if you want to drop it round and your not in any rush I probably would be able to sort it out for you at your cost of course.
Hi Mr John i have a 92 CBR doesn't want to start ,i think admission valves wich don't close all the way in because it spits gas out if the carburator little bit ,removing thé cylender head engine in the frame IS it doable?
I got a 2005 for around £2k as my 1st "big bike" last July and it's been nothing but a complete joy to ride! Love your videos and thanks for documenting your work on the Tiger 955i. It's very much appreciated. You seem like a good guy 🙂
