This is a channel about travel and how to be self sufficient while doing it. My wife and I are building our own camper and will modify our 98 jeep cherokee for off road travel to take on our future adventures. we will also be doing hiking, sailing ,gardening and 4wheeling videos so stay tuned!!!
I bought a harbor freight one and changed the rails to 20’ so I could cut longer boards, I was doing good till I moved it everything you said is correct.
Hi mate, I like how you've got rid of those problem tree first beforehand, apart from that you've done a great job, I'm also planning getting a similar sized excavator in the near future just watching these kind of videos to help me out on things like building roads and stuff, once again mate you've done a great job, some love coming your way from Australia, keep it up and take care😁👍🇦🇺
Love the simplicity of systems and the complexity of the build. So beautiful. Let me know if you ever want to sell it. I’m about to retire and can see myself in something like this. Great job.
Dude is a great builder no arguement. However its a great build if your going to spend the next 5 years in the Appalacia Mountains?. If you want to secret camp in any major city, ya kinda screwed. You stick out like dogs b@!!s.
I really love the build I would like it better. It’s a bed set up into a couch mode because that’s a lot of wasted space if I can’t use it during the day. Just saying, but it is beautiful. I even love the color of the truck. What did you use to paint that?
I love it ! Awsome job . I watch Timmy at truck house life . Freakin beautiful. And you get 5 bonus points for the truck roller paint ! I'm an ex car painter, butt whatever works . Not knocking it at all . I have a lot of redneck hippie in me . I knew you were in beautiful Idaho before I even saw your pic. Plate . Another win ! & you earned a subscribe
Looks awesome! And looks like you’re in a nice and rainy climate… the OSB/Grace/corrugated metal is all you need? A lot of people over-engineer with fiberglass and whatnot and still seem to get leaks.
My Idea was to build the whole thing like a roof, not one drop or condensation so far and it has been in several noreasters and a direct hit from what was left of hurricane lee recently. Also it lives about 100 yards from the ocean and It still smells like brand new construction inside!! Thanks for watching!!
Just last week I had a hickory log that drove me nuts because it was wavy.i ended up doing all the checks you did and then I cut some old 8x8s for beams in my house..things worked out..thanks for the lube recipe.. I'll try it.
Thank you so much for NOT showing 25 minutes of useless action to make your points. This is how all "how-to" videos should be done. Short and to the point. Bravo!
Thanks! It has been super reliable. Yes I am in an area with lots of boats and have keeping an eye out for a used wall mount style wood stove you commonly see on old sailboats.
