My name is Brittanie and I am the creature of A Quarter Baked. I created this channel to express my creativity and passion for baking, and to share that journey with you. Hopefully I can help you make some amazing desserts, and have a ton of fun in the process!
this video is over 3 years old at this point, but these cookies are INSANELY good! shout OUT to this recipe as i brought them into work and they were gone SO fast If you want them to more like New York cookies (taller and fluffier) I changed the flour to 1-1/3 cups flour, added 1 tsp of baking soda, and then cooked for 6 extra (my oven sucks) minutes
Every time a cooking host says "Let's get started," I automatically click out. Everyone says it. They can get started without saying it. It's a throwaway line.
😢 I accidentally used bread flour . Thankfully I caught it before mixing and scooped most of it out. Hopefully they still come out ok. They're in the freezer now.
i wish you would have broken one in half so i could see if they were soft or not. i'm not a baker but they look really good. i just don't like hard cookies. thank you anyway...nice video!!...and thanks for writing the recipe out in the description box!!
No you take those apple peels and you suck them with some orange skins and lemon skins with most of the white taken off as well as your killed and leftover pineapple you throw that into a bowl full of sugar overnight in the fridge then you throw all that into a pan can you heat it up and then you reduce the heat and you do that three or four times to make sure everything infuses then it out on the wire rack or parchment and set it out to dry for a while back it up and refrigerate it and you get your homemade candied fruit that you can use in other recipes like a fruit cake
i love the video great welcoming personality and easy to follow along you make baking seem less stressful and feel alot more intentional with soul food vibes amen
Thank you for this delicious nnd simple recipe. I made it and it was by far the best cinnamon raisin bread i've ever had in my life. I stretched the dough out very thin, which led to lots of layers like a croissant, except better because it had raisins and cinnamon!
I just made the recipe. In the oven now. Of course, I ran out of brown sugar. Wouldn’t you know your next video is on how to make brown sugar! Ah well, I’ll be ready next time! Thanks for your videos
