What it comes down to is that Canada has a very much larger economy. New Zealand will never be able to compete with that sort wealth . Also Canads's international Border is with the USA, the world's largest economy, Canada most important trading partner.

I find it interesting how so many people are unsatisfied with their home country and then are unhappy with the 1st country they migrate to and then unhappy with the 2nd country they migrate to and so on and so on.
Iwill never leave my country for anything. NZ is my home to the day im 6ft under. Why and what reason you 2 moved to canada. Working? Was it cheap there? Any wild animal?
Toronto is like Calgary's big brother. Both have lots of good universities & job opportunities. Both have lots of fun events & attractions year round & both offer nature scenery close by when you want a break from the city with Calgary having Banff National Park & Toronto having Niagara Falls. IMO Calgary is better because Calgary gets nicer weather & doesn't have as bad traffic & Calgarians seem nicer & less snobby than Torontonians & Calgary is also way cheaper, but both are good cities.
Being as NZ citizen I had the opportunity to live and work in Canada. TBH everything in Canada is quite expensive and wages are sucks. I have lived in Calagary and didn’t like at all. In my opinion NZ is much better than Canada and yes I moved back to NZ after spending 6 months in Canada. If you are PR or Citizen in Australia or NZ moving to Canada is not worth. However this is my just my opinion. No hate to Canada.
That's the thing which I also feel Another benefit is that People can easily travel to their Asian home country whereas in canada There is Very High prices of flights and hours
