Great price you got on that mower! I have a 2016 hrr model(push, not self propelled). I want a self propelled Honda and I know they will soon leave the US market, so I was looking at the hrn and hrx. Don't know what I should go for.
Great tips! I was wondering if you could recommend footwear. My feet get so incredibly sore landscaping. I have a pair of Dakota's but still have a hard time maintaining decent hours of work due to sore feet. Anyways, thanks for the videos.
Looks like your tire trea is about shot. Good news is you can get a whole new set of glhobda wheels for about $60 and take about 5 minutes to replace them and get your trackion back
@@engineking777 That’s a good place to be. Next season I am upping to $65 with an average of 70 to 85 per quarter to half acre. We have to keep up with rising expenses
@@Manifestmowing it look like it blocks the grass that way. I can't get mines to bend like that cord only hold it up. But yours look like it's in a down position as well.
I had a weekly customer with a newly built home with a large yard. Everything was good for about a year then it was can you skip next week. Long story short they only wanted me to come over once a month for 1/4 of the monthly fee.Of course the grass was long. I tried to explain to them that it was no longer worth it for me to come over and I quit working for them. I later found out they owned 2 other houses and they had a different guy cutting each house. So basically they were taking advantage of the landscapers.
@@WFSmith Hey I get it, this is what I do if it not worth it for you give them a price that will make it worth it for you. I had to talk to 2 customers earlier this week that tried that. I informed them the price quoted was for biweekly. I gave them a 3 week price and a 1 month price that had $125 on top of the biweekly price. We. Had a lot of rain the past few weeks so they paid it.
Great video!! I just bought one from HD new $449. I asked the mngr if he can creatively find some discounts. $50 off for opening a cc (that I'll immediately clos) and $50 off something he added. HD needs to get rid of these with Honda stopping production. Go get a great deal on a great mower!
@@InAndOutLawnCare Honestly most of my larger properties are referrals from other customers with smaller properties. And yes if you are looking to work larger properties go for it.
How could you not look under the deck before you ran it? Just saying.😊 Those pistol grips used to destroy my wrists...love the new ergonomic handles nowadays.
Thanks for the tips my Man!!! Attitude is definitely key and you got it Man. A good attitude. I’m a fellow landscaper here in South Louisiana! Ought to check out our humidity!!!! 😂 Thanks again and stay cool!😂
@@juanpalacio685 I can only imagine the humidity there. But you’re getting it done. Only the strong 💪🏽 survive. 😂 glad you found the video helpful and thanks for watching.
A good tip is try to get in touch with realtors if you find any properties of theirs that are overgrown. I have realtors sending me so many jobs now my head is spinning
good video brother, I deal with late payment with maybe 5% of customers. I give them 1 chance until I fire them. Those red flags are extremely important to pick up on before they hire you.
Hey, what's up? My brother? I took your advice. I always carry water with me in my cooler but today, I love fruits myself so I got some grapes, red ones and green ones and I have to admit it really got me through the day. Thanks for that advice I end up cutting 10 properties a day no problem feel good not being dehydrated, so I'm gonna keep on doing that secret recipe. Thank you so much, enjoy your videos. I'. M down here , virginia beach , virginia and I am map landscaping
@@williamgoodman9861 Hey great to hear that. Just passing on to you guys some tips that really help me push through. And it really does make a big difference. Glad it helped you out and thanks for watching.
My brother, the idea customer is weekly.I know it's kind of hard for some people to pay every.Week because the budget thing but every 2 weeks is like you're really putting a lot of damage in your equipment like I said, especially if it rains to me you're doing a double cut. She's on a pain you want time
Brother, you need to go to weekly cuts only because every 2 weeks is not paying off for you, because it could rain a lot and that's double the work you have to do to bring the grass down.I don't know where you stay at.That's a major issue when you come to every other week properties
I try to work with a customer but I'm not going to reward them for bad behavior such as going beyond a 2 week cut for the same price. I'm already pushing it to the limit with biweekly cuts during the hot and rainy season so don't try to squeeze a extra week in in me.
Cant go wrong with this mower. It doesnt have enough power to do heavy grass, but few push or self propelled mowers do. The wheels wear out quickly on these in 1-2 years.
Awesome. Hey I'm in the ga area. I don't have Facebook do you know where I can get a used one. Are you selling any? These things are so expensive especially when you're trying to get established
@@Zeroturnlawncare Yes it is and if you can’t just work with what you have. That’s what I did in the beginning. A 15 minute dive is better than no job.
Just got mine last week. Guy only had it for a few months and I paid $295. It’s so powerful and light. Only issue I have is how loud it is. I’m wondering if something g happened to the muffler.
@@edensgardenshed9622 I do not currently charge an additional fee if they pay by Venmo or Cash app but it is something I have considered. And thanks for subscribing and welcome to the channel.
