I’ve had good cigars. But this was my cigar where I said “oh shit this is fucking incredible” arguably the best cigar I’ve ever had so far, looking forward to trying Padron 1926 and 1964
always amazing to me all the flavors/smells cigar reviewers get. been smoking mostly premium cigars for years, I'm now 80 and never experience these flavors just pleasant good tobacco taste. if the cigar isnt bitter I'm happy. guess I'm in that class of cigar smoker, sure am not alone!
A 5 on the value score for that cigar. Crazy should have been higher IMO. I will watch some more of your reviews as I am intrigued. 11 is a budget stick these days.
Smoke the Elegancia regularly, but I have often been disappointed with the wrapper. Mainly as you stated, the wrapper cracks. It will usually burn right through it but I have had one or two where the wrapper began to pull itself back further down. Still a great smoke!
Only thing I would add in my experience is the mild hint of chocolate it has. Well balanced, a bit of an uneven burning but I loved it and fully agree with you. I will buy more of them
This cigar so reminds me of the FACTORY SWEETS cigar. Not as sweet but probably on par with the FACTORY SMOKES cigar. I’m a new smoker so my palate is Virgin, thus these cigars have an extremely similar taste to me. Therefore, if I want that taste, the Factory Smokes are way cheaper.
I bought a few of these. I smoked one when i got home. It was kinda harsh yes. One after aging it 30days, a SIGNIFICANT improvement...wow! What a difference. Had another after aging it 60days, and that smoothed it out even more. Even had a mexican hot chocolate note. Definitely will buy more when i see them, and will have to age them for a bit 😂🤣
If nothing else, the M81 has the thickest smoke I’ve ever seen from a cigar. My best friend is a diehard Metallica guy, so I got us a five pack. He was taking a drag, puffing it out, catching the smoke in his hand, and releasing it after three or so seconds haha!
The Jaime is one of my top 3 sticks. Very prevalent in my regular rotation. (I smoke a wide variety of quality cigars). I'm actually on a kick with them right now, feeling like I want a box on hand. Such great consistency and an approachable flavor profile. I love when I get notes of graham cracker and bit of chocolate. Such an awesome stick, especially for the price. I am happy that you had a good experience with it, as I have.
AJ Fernandez is my favorite blender. I would put anything by him up against anything Drew estate my father Monte Cristo CAO Macanudo punch, the whole block avo I like the flavors that AJ Fernandez comes up with better than most all the others the only ones that come close to meare Perdomo and foundation.
As far as blenders go, I think him and Jose "don pepin" Garcia of my father are the only class 8 ligadors that I know of. That's definitely an honor. Me personally, I've got jc Newman, my father and Arturo Fuente for my top 3, but i definitely have AJ in my top 10 easily, probably my top 5 tbh. You can't go wrong with AJ. I haven't tried enough Perdomo to form a solid opinion and Foundation is one of the few brands I haven't made it to yet.
