Iconic guitarist, songwriter, vocalist and 3-time Grammy award-winner BRIAN SETZER has achieved one career milestone after another. He’s sold millions of albums and is a "Musician's Musician" credited with continually taking chances with innovative and daring musical styles. Setzer is widely credited for taking two forgotten genres, rockabilly and swing, adding his own blend of gunpowder and rockin’ style, and completely reinventing and single-handedly resurrecting them in the process. Along the way, he has scored chart-topping hits, sold 13 million records and received the Orville H. Gibson Lifetime Achievement Award throughout his decorated career as founder/leader of the Stray Cats, his 19-piece Brian Setzer Orchestra, and as a solo artist. He is consistently cited as one of the world’s greatest living guitarists, and has a best-selling, extensive line of elite Gretsch signature model guitars bearing his name. SETZER is also, fittingly, in the Rockabilly Hall of Fame.

Wouldn't the strings have kept the neck and the body linked?

While eating breakfast and playing yesterday.... I place my Martin on it's stand, bounced upwards slightly and over on it's face on the ground. Tooongggg !!! (sound it made). No damage, slightly out of tune and almost crapped in my underwear. Brian is so cool.

In Japan unless someone GIVES you something you cannot take ownership of items you come in contact with. At Baseball games in Japan you cannot keep foul balls, you can only keep balls that a player throws to you.

Been a Stray Cats fan since 1981. Brian's the reason I own so many Gretsch guitars and got into rockabilly. Still rocking 43 years later. Go Cat go!

Brian is one of the greatest guitarists ever. Saw him with the Stray Cats at the US Festival in San Bernardino, Ca. back in 1983, and it still,8s one of the best shows I ever went to.

I have never thrown one of my guitars and never will. When one has a guitar that plays in a certain tone and sounds so good you don't want to change that.

So... All 6 strings suddenly unwound themselves from the tuners and the neck flew into the audience? Sounds like science fiction to me.

The constant clicking of his earrings must have drove the sound engineer for this interview nuts. :p I remember a recording session in my studio when there was this weird static sound. It stopped when I shut off the mic so I swapped cables, but it came back as soon as I turned the mic on. I thought my mic was ruined until the singer picked up his can of Coke to take a drink and it got louder.... the mic was picking up the fizzing sound. Doh! So yeah, clicking from earrings and jewellery (or fizzy pop) when you're recording are a pain in the ass LOL
