When i was a building contractor it was full of times of anxiety. A horrible feeling. In later life I took up meditation. I did a course in it. Really helped me to have peace of mind. It made me feel like I had nothing to worry about and everything was all good. The building game is a stressful business. Employees, weather, customers, things going wrong, too much work to cope etc etc.
Shame they don’t extend that level of support and understanding to the boys out on site … Red card see you later … taking the mental health issues and stress levels to an all new high … completely missing the giant red flag 🚩 that said behaviour was nothing but a great big sign saying help I’m not ok … and taking away a already desperate persons only means of providing for their family would be the point Mental health support would be most needed.
Unfortunately ime 64 years old and ime renting ime a plasterer but ime quite fit and strong ime working as hard as I was when I was in my 40s I've got no choice got no private pension I gave to keep going as long as I physically can
Anxiety is a problem for us in the building game especially if your self employed to much work how you gona cope not enough work how you gona cope it is really worrying and yes especially on a Sunday evening I don't know why but its true
How about society stops demonizing men for being men, and take a cold hard look at societies’ insatiable yearning towards instant gratification. Is it really necessary to work 12-16 hrs a day, every day of the week for months on end????
Impressed with your recovery I am to with lighthouse my names Craig mclean I work as a telescopic driver for bellway house builders My go to councillor is out of this word always there at end of phone My problems have just escalated over the last 3yrs I have been to the bottom while I'm still struggling with panic attacks anxiety depression dawn has been there to council me we have gone right back to my childhood and without me realising I actually suffer from ptsd high lighting this is making things fall into place and I am beginning to understand my path through life now and the paths I've took not all of them being the correct decision recently and major incident happened in my life on top of everything else this has now resulted in suicide thoughts that are getting deeper and harder to dismiss and with the help of Dawn and lighthouse I can see lite at end of tunnel what I will say to anyone reading this growing up I was not scared of nothing or anyone but realise now that no one is strong enough to cope with major events in their life on there own I was to proud to ask for help but taking the 1st step is the 1st step to the rest of your life Thankyou dawn And thankyou lighthouse But we're it all started thankyou bellway

This is bollocks they don’t care they stick up a few posters on site and expect everything to be okay I work in construction and believe me they don’t care about you they care about the money only and that’s just the way it will always be. Make as many videos as you like nothing changes
I've been in the building trade, working on people's homes, No Thanks off the house owner, Stand over us all day, so I went back Drivering lorrys, same there People in Offices Ring, Ring cab phone, then I went has a Lorry Macanic, Boss standing over me, I started having Fits, and the Brain would shut down for 4 to 5 days
