Think its important to note though that Viktor was struggling physically here. At 10-17 you can already see something was wrong. Christie was smart to play these long rallies instead of going pound for pound against Viktor at 10-19. However, I wouldn't call the grimace on Viktor's face and the clear indications that he's struggling to move physically as "acting".
Axelsen has good stroke play, not a very deceptive player, bas he has great racquet skills Lee chong wei, anthony ginting are really fast and explosive and they reaches the shuttle early which gives them an opportunity to play variety of shots, hence making their shots deceptive Lin dan, kento momota, taufik have some really good racquet skill, they might not be the fastest(not talking about their primes), but they still controlled the rally when they were under pressure, they can play a variety of shots from a same position, even if they do not reach the shuttle early, and they do not even use almore than half of their shots in most of matches Then about Peter gade, no one knows and understands deception, stroke play more than him, he had extremely good racquet skill and could play almost any shot, and his deceptions are the cleanest and the toughest
Finally… he already got physical ,skill ,deception ,power. And now, determination ,game plan and mindset. All the qualities of 1st ranking. He deserves this. Wish him the best in upcoming olympic
