Laurie… I found this podcast very interesting as I’m a pharmacist and owned and operated a community pharmacy as well. I find it interesting as pharmacists we all tend to be highly educated and driven, live a healthy lifestyle, workaholics, steadfast , we are constantly learning and know the value of a dollar. I agree with what you said about if a matchmaking client goes on the 5th date with a match, they usually end up in a relationship or get married. I've kept track of that as well and tell matches to just shoot for 3 dates...some do, some don't. Why not give people a chance? That's literally the best piece of advice. Great podcast!
It's been over a decade and I don't see the end yet </3 but I remain hopeful that I can evolve this deepest attachment wound into a stabilizing force, whether that must remain in my mind or the 3D
@@acz51088 @acz51088 Went to LiveAid in Phila (ok... dating myself) and it was blazing hot and I went with a guy from the Jersey shore who had "the coveted ticket"- that's 2 hours back and forth of driving, an all day and into the night concert and pizza afterwards. We had nothing in common. And I don't want to discuss the goodnight kiss. I was delighted that I never saw him again. But hey... I went to Live Aid!
@@Carolinasmatchmaker Holy shit well aside from the clown that’s an amazing first date because you went to live aid. That line up alone was nothing but amazing. Was he not a good kisser? Lol one time I had a first date and all she did was text the absolute entire time. Obviously I didn’t keep her interest but I can’t believe I didn’t respect myself enough to call it quits early. After dinner we went and played putt putt and I paid lol I guess chivalry is not dead after all 🤷♂️
