I just pot-tweaked a console I received today as faulty, laser now works again. MFR Date is in 2010, so it's a late Phat model, worth fixing. I basicaly eyeballed it, kind of as an experiment, but also because I didn't really care whether it worked or not. For some reason I managed to get it to work, but I neither trust the laser nor the drive (it doesn't open half the time and I don't know how long the laser fix will work). I have six or seven RROD consoles here, might grab the key off the broken Lite-On and flash it onto one of the drives from one of these RROD consoles. Might even have another Lite-On, then I'd just have to switch the boards. Edit: Ok, nevermind, I can't find my old flash set for Xbox 360 Lite-On drives, that I had put together years ago. Been years since I last flashed a drive. I've just ordered five new lasers and 20 rubber belts on aliexpress for together around 15 Euros shipped.
@@blackpatch_13_nivek65 they definitely are. I have yet to see any that had the same craftsmanship and look as the MGS ones. It's like feeling something out of the matrix with these cards and they came out in the late 90s.
Thanks for your input. i do agree that this soundbar is one of the best for it's price range. When recording this my camera was quite far from the subwoofer which probably didn''t pick up the bass frequencies very well.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! Watched so many videos on this and realized that not all fat ps3 are the same. I bought the wrong model the first time so returned it and was patient to wait for the right one. I took my ps3 apart beforehand and few times just to make sure I got familiar with it. Went through trial and error as I ended up messing up the disc reader. Disc went in before I opened it and after I opened it no longer went in. Learned how the mechanism worked for that & fixed it. That said, originally the disc would go in just find but wouldn’t spin or read. After finally getting the laser replacement I bought on Amazon for $35 I was pretty much ready & well trained if anything went wrong. I took apart all the ribbons from prior knowledge I gained taking it apart the first couple of times, took out the original, put the laser replacement in while also using the rubber parts from the original and BOOM! Disc started spinning, & read just fine. Can’t thank you enough good sir! The best part is I bought this ps3 in box with all cables, controllers, etc for $50. So in total spent about $85 for a fat PS3. Stoked that it’s backwards compatible & I’ll be able to enjoy all my ps1, ps2 & ps3 games whenever I want now. Thanks again! ✌️
So controller works on main menu of rocky 5 but when I load up the emulator my controller doesn’t work to move up down or anything only to exit any ideas ?
@@techromancer1 what's up dude. I thought I reckonized that name. Long time no see brother. This game is crazy as hell. It's free to download on pc if you ever wanted to try it. Hope life is treating you good 👊
I have this strange issue when running Wii and GC games off my USB drive. If plugged into USB port 0, Wii games play fine. However, if I try to load up Nintendont, gamecube games will not run unless I swap my drive to USB port 1. Is there a way to fix this so I don't have to swap my hdd back and forth all the time? I don't like the idea of needing to swap usb ports depending if I want to play Wii or GC.
How many memories do I have from 2004 and 2005 with Abit NF7-S 2.0, XP 1700+@2.0GHz, 256MB DDR, ATI Radeon 9500PRO 128MB and Windows XP... 20 years and it seems like yesterday, the best time of my life come back more.
Hey so when I hot swap I turn on the xbox, let the menu boot up and sit for a few minutes, then I hot swap it in the main menu? In under 5 seconds. And then I go onto chimp after and let it sit for awhile? I'm trying to find the exact moment I perform the hot swap. Thanks
I never did this before and tried this on my secondary 3ds thankfully. The new shell didn't fit for whatever reason, the 3D slider stuck to the shell, so I put it back into the console but when I placed the original shell back onto it, the 3D slider was loose, wouldn't stay in place and 3D is constantly on. Did not expect to mess up THAT much just for trying to get a new shell on lmao😭
Nintendont works but when I try to load games from USB loader it tells me that I dont have the Boot.dol file in my nintendont loader path. Anyway I can solve this?
