Same happened to me, I had to re-light it around 4 times I finally gave up and finally threw it away. Good flavor but the burning issue really had me upset.
I've been getting into Cigars lately since you don't inhale into the lungs and they are kosher and don't contain added 4,000 chemicals like cigerettes. I can't stand the smell of cigs they give me headaches for days. BUT THE SMELL OF A GOOD QUALITY CIGAR MMMM I LOVE IT. I've been experimenting with random cigars. This one so far is my absolute favorite the taste the smell it doesn't give me a headache( some of the cheaper 4-6$ cigars gave me a headache and made me stink in a bad way) the BUZZ I got from this was Intense I loved it. I've also been smoking a cigar at least once a day because of its virus killing properties and health benefits. My favorite cigar thus far.
I had one of the WORST draws of my life with a partagas black label, while simultaneously being the best tasting stick I've had in years. Still, its in the list of my top cigars and I bought a draw poker just because its so damn good in every other way I see no choice but to just deal with the occasional bad draw.
One of my favorite cigars, especially if you get one that has a very oily wrapper, absolutely delicious stick, you get spice, coffee, chocolate and earth, I’ve smoked many of them, delightful
Been a long time cigar smoker but just ordered a new pipe with this tobacco to try. Look forward to it. I laughed out loud when you smelled the one that smells "like a house fire".
I consistently have burn issues with this particular stick in multiple sizes… but I love the flavor and aroma of it so much I keep getting it. That dominican corojo wrapper offers a very unique opus like flavor.
I buy on cigarbid they kill you with the fees. I bet with taxes, shipping and fees it added $15 to that total. By time u add everything up you may save a dollar or 2 per stick. And the suggested retail they have listed is far above the price u can get em for. Sometimes i do better on other sites. Some of em have free shipping and whatever that fee that cigarbid has, other sites dont have that fee. I purchased cigars for $60.36 by time it was all done the total was $80.22. So $20 worth of fees is crazy
Drew estate is my fav.. maybe because that’s what I was introduced to.. my first one was a fat bottom Betty… those or java is all I smoke.. any recommendations for new ones I’m open 👂
I recently switched from cigars to mostly pipes. I just ordered this tobacco and I can't wait to try it. Capstan Blue is also good. If you want a great Cherry/chocolate aromatic try Blood Red Moon Cult.
I highly suggest smoking it down to the bone. It's definitely worth a few whiskers. The last Inch of a cigar is usually my favorite part. This Cigar is no exception.
I like those small punches most of the time. I know people have their style that they’re comfortable with, I’m just joining the conversation with that remark. I’ve smoked about 10 of these and I love them. Recently I got a fiver of the V770 Big Block and they are resting in an acrylic jar with a snap lid and a piece of Spanish Cedar. Going to let them nap a good long while. I see this video is 5 years old, so still going strong. Peace to you and all reading this.
I just ordered 5 because I thought the Factory Smokes Maduro were okay but wanted just something Slightly better. Before I tried the Factory Smokes I was buying boxes of 25 Oliva different series for a few months but was costing around $120 a month. The Factory Smokes Maduro Churchill 25 for only $42 and not bad but want to try something different. Thanks for the review.
I think you'll love 'em. Nica Rustica is a nice step up from the Factory Smokes line. They burn much longer in my experience, a good 2 hour smoke if you're takin' your time. Great construction, smoke output. Relatively one dimensional compared to some more complex smokes, but sometimes that consistency in flavor is a good thing. I think of it like coffee- sometimes a fancy latte hits the spot, but I prefer black coffee 90% of the time. Nica Rustica is a "black coffee" kinda smoke to me. Consistent, predictable, solid. A cigar I'd happily smoke on a daily basis.
@Ramsaaaa thanks for the review. That sounds great. That's exactly what I wanted was a step-up from the Factory Smokes. I love to have some coffee with a cigar.
@Ramsaaaa I thought I'd let you know I just was able to try my first Nica Rustica. I definitely like it alot and it is so much better than the Factory Smokes. It burned very straight and gave out a great amount of smoke. The flavor is very good. It was a Toro (6 × 52) and lasted a long time. I will definitely pick up some more.
@@BenCase88 Hell yeah! Glad you liked it! It was one of the few cigars I tried in the beginning, like 5 years ago, that piqued my interest in cigars. I still buy them all the time. One of the best values in connecticut broadleaf. Might have to smoke one this evening, cheers!
I like the way you smoke Curious to hear your review ( 7 years later) because I just scored a tub of Chatham Manor. So far, I like it more than Carter Hall. Great beard BTW...
As far as Connecticut go, I find the Camacho to be tangy in the second third and salty. It’s definitely a light to medium body. If you start enjoying it and heat it up, it can be stronger and the white pepper will come out on the retro big-time. I wouldn’t recommend this one necessary to beginner if I had something else smoother. Don’t get me wrong, I love this, Cigar.
