If Possible could you share the significance of each o ring. How to know fuel is not mixing with lube oil. On ZJMD MAN BW L23/30H, it had slight fuel leak or lube oil leak
I am big fan of your videos, where each and every part is explained clearly and with good clarity. Plz do upload more videos as it’s helping us a lot in getting practical knowledge of things which we hadn’t experienced yet in our marine life. Electronic engine overhauls are a good series.
Hey appreciate your comment..... thanks a ton for your words... Just trying my best to share the details for our engineers to be ready to deal with any scenarios....it's a real fun to share knowledge ...
Clear & good explanation. Also the quality of the video has to be appreciated. Its very difficult to take video during the hectic decarb time. Excellent job !!!👏👏👏
Why haven’t you taken out the liners along with piston to clean the jacket spaces and change their o rings.?? Is it not necessary to take out liners as well.??
It's a good question and I appreciate you come up with it... If at all the jacket cooling water temperatures are within range as per makers guidelines....it's not need to remove the liners... Hence proper chemical dosing and weekly testing for JCW is necessary...
@@sealegend1627 After all these years I haven’t seen a single ship with optimum jcw parameters.. so i always prefer to take the liners out.. because there will be mud and scale accumulation between the spaces
Good day sir, how does the height of the vertical shaft is measured. Is it by adding the value measured at the shaft + the value measured of the scale at the outside?
