I used to do this back in the very beginning in 1985, 86, and, 87 on a Suzuki Quad Racer. It was very popular in Indiana where we had a lot of oval dirt tracks. I still have the scars and aches to go with it too. Best wishes.
I know the clutch is on left. Question 1 Now on your right where you place two of fingers is that front rear brake or the back rear brake? because i seen you do it when your on the turns 2. Are the rest of the ATV's are all 450R.
Its a shame kawasaki didnt build the chassis for aggressive off road riding. needs way more suspension travel. It would of been way more competitve against honda and yamaha.the mojave has a good motor tho with potential.it would be cool to see a xc race modded one with nice lt suspension and swing arm swap
Well aware of the rules. Have sense purchased nerf bars. Merely saying I passed inspection, spent my entire day and week preparing, payed to have fun (could care less about winning), missed a local race to attend this national, and a grumpy father who didnt want the competition goes out of his way to make sure I got disqualified. Very frustrating situation. Call me hillbilly, but I'm riding a bone stock quad with an fmf and a homemade lowering kit. I wasn't going to set land speed records. I was there for fun, and honostly I was putting down some very competitive lap times for my class. Merely saying the situation was handled very poorly by the father, and I just wanted the opportunity to sling my hillbilly TRX around a national track.
Hey man I actually live right outside of shelbyville. Do you live in Indiana? And how would I enter in one of these races? I'm wanting to get into racing.
Make sure you read the rulebook on the edt page rule 6 says nerf bars are required. Don't get upset for not following the rules. Just so you know I am not associated with the dad who complained or do I even know.
