My concern is in regards to keeping my weight at 249g to keep the remote id from going into effect. Maybe overly paranoid, but I wanted the smaller battery.
This is WAAAY ridiculous with the plus battery. I could understand if it made the drone faster and more powerful, but for all practical purposes, what is the difference with 30 grams?? It’s not going to do any more damage if you should ever crash into something. Rules like this should be re-reviewed. It’s not opening the door to a whole selection of potential batteries for the mini, it simply extends the flight time..
My Creo 2 has the buttons to change modes on the handlebars as standard. Also SRAM electronic gear shifting. Great performance and excellent value for money. Just completed an 87 mile ride with 33% battery charge remaining. I mostly stick to Eco mode, so I don't see a need for the range extender.
Hi Brian, thanks for sharing your personal experience with the eBike. I am seriously considering to get one so I can keep up with my young 22 years old son on long and steep ascent trips. I came to a point where I struggle to follow him and I do not enjoy it as much as a should. 10:15 All my bikes are Specialized (Epic, Diverge, Robeaux). The 2024 Creo 2 seems a great choice. I also think this is not a cheat bike but an enhancer to allow you enjoy riding on a bike with people in a better shape, running longer distances or steeper roads. Well...looking at the many comments i see most comments are labeling people as "normal"...well...there not...its the Karens and kens of this screwed up world that were worried about....the Karens and Kens...dont think in a normal manner and like most people...the media has put a terrible spin of what drones are...which...inturn put people into a "fear" of drones...so as a whole i would do exactly the same return the drone for the regular battery and fly as invisible as possible.
Thank you Brian. I have been considering a switch to an e-bike and I have loooked at the Creo. Your video has been very helpful. At 80YO I have been finding, like you, that on my usual Specialized road bike I just could not keep up with younger, fitter friends. Until now I thought it would be cheating to make the switch but I'll speak to my dealer tomorrow!! Tony
What if I installed it correctly, but chain keeps making clicks noises as if it's trying to go gear up (on the lowest gear)? Derailleur is perfectly tuned recently, and nothing like that happens with Shimano quick-link (I checked)
Hard to say. My first thought would be that you’re cross-chaining but you said it wasn’t happening with the other quick-link. Did you figure it out since you posted this?
I try for the last 20days to make voice commands to work on my new Hero11. While watching your video, you said the command, and that activated mine camera also! Damn... seems the camera is very picky, even on pitch and accent...!!
Brian, I actually purchased Turbo Creo last August primarily based upon your previous video review (after having looked at many other e-bikes) and I haven't regretted it. Thanks. Your experience on group rides was mine to with respect to getting dropped and riding in the back. I've ridden RAGBRAI 7 times and the last two I've really struggled. My hope is that the Creo will allow me to once again participate in it! I appreciated your review of the accessories and especially the kickstand. I have experienced one problem with the bike that has actually started only in the last four months: the chain keeps slipping off when I'm trying to (or succeed in) shift into the large chain ring. Is this a problem you experienced? I found a video reporting that problem and the reporter tried (and said it solved) changing the Praxis chain ring out to a Wolf Tooth chain ring. Any thoughts?
@@grandimperialpoobah I’m glad you were able to get something out of my stuff! As for the chain, I have not experienced that. It does make a grinding sound in the big ring, but I write that off since it’s a 1-by. I’ll keep an eye on that.
BIG governenent , can track you wherever you are if your carrying a cellphone with you ,even if youve dissabled that on your phone. They can even find you if it your is turned off. Its the chips they put in everything today,its very hard to be unstackable in satans world
Make sure you're doing it in the correct order; first, select the workout. Next, select the button with the three dots in the upper corner, finally, scroll down to the bottom. I just checked mine, it's still there.
@@BrianRouse Doesnt matter exchange or not. They take those returns into account when setting up the prices in any business. Again, who am I to talk. Thank you for posting this information! I am a part of a group from Iowa heading there this year for the first time and can not wait! All your information was great and answered a lot of questions we had. I do have a few other questions if don't mind sharing. I know you said you didn't stay at the campground but I am guessing you might have noticed if they had enough shower facilities or would it be a good idea to bring a portable shower station? Since there are around 6+ of us coming and we are trying to save space for the drive to KY a lot of us are wondering about the weather in the morning is it a little chilly and gets hot and humid in the afternoon or do you would you say we would be safe just bringing a jacket but wearing shorts and short sleeve jerseys? Thank you for your time and hopefully you are ridding this year and we can grab a drink!
Hi Daniel..thanks for watching! It's my understanding that they DO have enough shower facilities. Some in our group camp and they don't bring portable showers. As far as temp goes, I usually find myself bringing a jacket, gloves, hat, and a neck gaiter in the morning, but sometimes you don't need that at all. I think you're safe in just bringing shorts as far as your legs go. So come assuming you'll need some warm stuff at first; by late morning I'll take most of that off because it does warm up. ABUS locks are the heaviest, bulkiest, ugliest locks on the market - AND not even that secure. You can get a 'grinder' proof lock that's just as good, weighs and costs about half... and that will be just as easily picked.
I can't argue with you on this one. Over the years I've used my lock only when I absolutely need it. Attaching it and bringing it everywhere proved to be less than practical. Locks are really just a deterrent for average crooks...the motivated ones will get around it for sure.
M3, MP3 and MP4 all broadcast remote ID period, Doesn't matter what battery is in it. That said, they don't have the power to transmit it very far. I don't worry about it.
