Как этот фокусник вставил сепаратор конечно большой вопрос. А чтобы подшипник лучше обрабатывался и сепаратор с шарами мягче заходили он наверное произвел отжиг😂
Если сломался подшипник из легированной стали, значит в механизме на него были большие нагрузки. В сварочном металле нет легирующих добавок. Подшипник сломается снова у нового владельца.
При сварке происходит деформация и как следствие изменение геометрических размеров . Поэтому надо было склеить супер клеем или БФ-88. Можно было ещё попробовать канцелярский или клей ПВА. Главное хорошо обезжирить.
There was the inner and outer ring, then ball bearings were put in, it was then carried to the lathe, and magically the ball bearing spacer holder was inside too! Lol they switched to a brand new bearing when it showed it in the lathe, there was no welding marks either. Nice try, but faked!

I thought I might find some useful tips here for restoring my own foggy headlights. But the first thing I see is using a torch to take the plastic apart. That was the end of that.
