Hey man, im a huge admirer of your colosseum skills. Some people say SW pillar is a bit easier, because the backups get trapped easier behind the pillar. Would you be open to do a vid on SW pillar as well with basic gear?
Would you add venator to this setup if you had it? Also what are your thoughts on tent/fang vs nox halb for learners? I know nox halb locks you to take myopia for sol, thanks bro
Yes, Venator is a big upgrade for DPS, so definitely take it if you've got it. I believe the Halberd is better dps on the calc and has the nice option of letting you spec to remove venom if you take Manti-mayhem but don't have sanfew.
@OSRS_Academy thanks for the reply bro. Started some proper learners runs yesterday and got the sunfire legs and plate back to back in early waves 🤣 onwards and upwards
Your videos are the best guides. They are easy to follow and extremely helpful. I know there are plenty but please could you do an infernal beginner’s guide? None of the guides out there are as helpful as your approach.
Lol, ironic you say this, I am actually on the inferno grind right now with my iron, using Ice Burst and a Scorching bow with no Blowpipe. Scuffed setup but I made it to zuk! Maybe I'll throw something out there.
I definitely understand your frustration friend. I've been running on my iron and definitely feel the same frustration. Feel free to join the discord I linked and I can help coach you during your runs to help identify points for improvement.
Interesting hearing you working through things as they're happening. Your old low combat video helped me get the quiver on my 42 def account. Thanks for the uploads!
Bro lmfao. So much has changed since every guide I've watched. You guys actually had the easiest version of the colosseum. The ranger hits for 15s now. They buffed all of the annoying minions.
Did they change this trat? I can't get anything to line up on that south west pillar when they're stacked on the north pillar. I run down from that 3 stack tile and I click the western most tile of the south side of the south west pillar and then they all end up being stacked somehow without any of them breaking off and climbing the east side to where I can safely run to the corner trap on the eastern tile.
After watching countless of other Colosseum guides this is the first that comes even close to making it actually easy. Holy shit. Great job dude! This video made me feel like I could get the quiver on my next run.
It has to do with how NPCs true tile lines up with the player's true tile. Woox has a pretty great video that explains NPC line of sight. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vnyNLXTwjCE.html
Hey man, super helpful guide. Do you have any plans of doing an inferno guide? I'm currently doing attempts, but more than anything I'd like to show my friends that the colosseum and inferno are much more doable than they think.
Aatykon's first cape fridays for Inferno are really similar in fashion to this video. Calm, easy breakdowns, easy solves. Although, having completed Inferno, now seeing this man laugh at stack solving, Inferno actually does require some 1-tick flicking, where as Colosseums seems not to reuire that at all, lol
@@TheHeedbo I do like Aatykon's inferno guides, but even his fcf series is too complex and difficult for my friends and their simple minds. This video is one of the only guides I'd even consider recommending to them between all the inferno/colo guides out there that I've seen and I watched dozens when I was pursuing my own quiver/cape.
I can only get to Wave 7 before dying for now. I find that regardless of being low def already, I die faster to relentless. Also doing this on a budget for all cb styles but have Bowfa. I definitely am more on the casual side but maybe just a bit frustrated of the spawns I get. I just feel kinda lost since I keep dying around waves 5-6.
Thanks for this guide. Is it still current? Other guides I’ve seen don’t use B5 tile anymore. You make it seem very doable so I’d like to follow this if it’s still current.
Another easy tip is to tele between ferox/house and spec rats with eldritch to start at 120prayer. I would really enjoy seeing how you go about dealing with nasty spawns on waves 8/10/11 Potentially a short video on how/when you would immediately bail on NW pillar
Probably the best no-nonsense guide out there man. Great job! Explained very well and this guide helped me get my first quiver! Only thing I did different was that I took a 6-way mage switch to guarantee (I never splashed at least) a freeze on the fremmies. That was easier for me since I could just freeze them once and focus on flicking whatever's south of the pillar :)
good video thanks for the tips, going to work on getting this on a pure here soon good to see how its done, no colossal blade so its dscim time unfortunately
nice vid you see at 13:31 where you 1 shot the fremmy mager with the venny bow hitting a 20-30 i actually found out that its nicer when using regular range pots and you go under the max hit.. lets say you hit a 27-18.. it would now be 5hp, allowing you to now hit the fremmy ranger once with venny bow, which now bounces to the 5hp mager and bounces back to the fremmy ranger now the fremmy ranger has taken 2 ven bow hits and is more than certainly in a position to be 1 shot by your colossal rather than 2 shot i utilised it greatly doing 50 att quiver
not low combat myself, but this guide was very handy. those corner trap techniques look really useful! great video, but agree that the volume should be up a bit. thanks!
@@OSRS_Academy ahh so im clicking back too late thanks! do you click away at a certain point or is it just when you know what the move is- ie sound of spear
