We have 715 ppm Sodium after drilling a new well at 180ft, it has been running 1min every 30 mins for several days, we let it rest for a few days, no pumping, and started it back up, The TDS is 2290 straight out of the well, no filters. We are running it through Springwell Airator then 4 inch 5 Micron sediment / Maganess filter, and next is the Springwell softener set at 6 grand and then it gets hit with some UV. Still we are lightly salty at the sink, so I ordered the SimPurt T1 400 RO ststrem. I'm assuming I could run to a 200 Gallon holding tank with float switch, we typically use 100GPD. Thoughs. My TDS meter should be here tomorrow.
I am a 67 year old grandmother and thanks to your instructions I have installed this system. The only difference is, mine has a uv light. Much appreciated!

Does this provide a clean “low TDS” water when the faucet is turned on? In other words, if I pour a glass of water from this in the morning, will the filtered water be clean without running the water for 30sec or a minute? I have other tankless systems and the first glass of water is almost like a tap water if it stayed idle for a while.
I installed the UV version of this in an off-grid setting and submitted a water test to our local public health agency. It still had bacteria in the water. Any suggests on the cause? Power is working to the unit (the pump cycles). How else can I tell if the UV is working? Any other ideas? All water line after the pump was new, flushed according to the installation instructions.
We are very close to buying this system, but i'm not sure if there is a temperature limit to the system. We wanted to put it in our laundry room in the car port. It gets up to around 120°F. If Simpure or anyone else could help me with that information, it would be greatly appreciated.
Dear Sir, i have a quick question, i have the same model Simpure Y7 bought it about 2 years ago, i am also regularly changing RO/CF filters, but the water filtering became too slow and it takes 5-7 hours to fill like 10 liter bottle....what is the issue?
Could you please help us to confirm the following: 1. The TDS of you tap water. (Is your tap water from municipal water or well water?) 2. Have you noticed how long it takes for the system filtering indicator to turn on and off?(no dispense water) If this process can be completed in 10 minutes, it indicates that the filter element is not blocked. Plesase follow the following step to solve the problem: 1. Unplug it, wait 2 minutes and plug it back in again. 2. Push the Flushing button, you will hear 1-beep, the Flushing button will be on, and the System will flush the membrane for 60 seconds and stop. (This is for better backwashing of the protective fluid in the RO membrane) Repeat the above steps 2 times to flush the filter element. 3. Push and hold the Flushing button for 5-seconds to empty the internal pure water tank. And then empty the feed water tank and refil it.
@@simpurelife Thank you for your reply. The duration of filter indicator to turn on and off is more than 10 min, it takes around 20 or more minutes, and sometimes, even it didn't filter and no water can be dispensed. i think the filter element is blocked, but im really concerned that i have replaced last month both RO/CF filters and how come they are block and not filtering smoothly. Please suggest a better solution. Thank you.
@@simpurelife I have faced another issue, the water shortage light is blinking and it never stops. I tried several times and waiting for more than an hour, and the water shortage never gone, and it is not filtering… although machine is on and working fine, pls advise what is the issue?
To reset the CF Indicator Light, follow these steps: 1. Press and hold the Reset button for 3 seconds. 2. While the CF light is flashing, press the Reset button again for three seconds. 3. Once the CF light stops flashing, the CF filter has been successfully reset. To reset the RO Indicator Light, follow these steps: 1. Press and hold the Reset button for 3 seconds. 2. While the CF light is flashing, press the Reset button once to switch to the RO filter. 3. Then press the Reset button again for 3 seconds. 4. Once the RO light stops flashing, the RO filter has been successfully reset. Video link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FLnfnbj52PA.html
ACCORDING TO WHAT I FOUND OUT ABOUT THE MATERIAL THAT IS MADE WITH, I DON'T THINK I'D WANT TO DRINK FROM IT. CAN YOU IMAGINE AS IT GETS HOT UNDER THE SUN, WHAT YOU'RE DRINKING OR YOUR CHILD? HERE YOU GO: IS Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene HARMFUL Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) is a thermoplastic polymer that has been linked to potential health risks due to its chemical composition. The monomers that make up ABS, such as acrylonitrile, butadiene, and styrene, have been shown to be harmful to human health. Styrene, a common impurity in ABS, is a known human carcinogen and can cause cancer, as well as neurological and respiratory problems.
How often i should change the filter? i have bought mine last year and the filtration is now very slow. Shall i change CF and RO filters? There is no warning or message, how should i know, please help?
@@simpurelife I use it at least every two weeks, after filling all my spare bottles at home, then i switch it off. The machine is not regularly plugged in. I use it only when i need water after 2 weeks approx.
@@mabob12 The filter life is measured with powere on, looks like you don't use it quite open and with power on all the time. You can compare the TDS values before and after filtering and then see if the entire filtering time (from the Filter light on to the Filter light off) can complete a round of filtering within 10 minutes.
Hi there, There are several conditions that can cause the light to flash. You can check our user manual at www.simpurelife.com/pages/user-manual or contact our customer service at service@simpurelife.com. They will assist you in resolving the issue as soon as possible.
Any advice on how to get rid of the smell of rotten eggs from the water? Ive had the countertop OS for 3 months. Just left out of town for 2 weeks. Now the water smells like rotten eggs. Would like to avoid this or figure out a fix
Hi there, please visit the page www.simpurelife.com/pages/user-manual, click on the Y7P Series User Manual, and navigate to page 17. There, you'll find instructions on what to do if you stop using the SimPure Y7P for over 1 week.
I just purchased the Y7 countertop system and very excited for it to get here. We spend a fortune in bottled water every month because after chemo I cannot stand the taste of our tap water. It tastes like it came straight from the swimming pool it has so much chlorine in it. Up to this point I'd always taken for granted our city was safe to drink and didn't put much thought into it. Now after doing research I was shocked to learn all the contamination in it. Due to my health concerns it really gave me a wake up call. Sim pure from all the brands I've researched stands out above the rest hands down. Now my question is should I invest in a pitcher for my refrigerator to keep cold water available or is it just as safe to use my plain old glass pitcher using the water from the countertop unit?
Hi Dear, Both options are suitable for you. If you prefer cold water, you can dispense the water and place it in your refrigerator. If you are fine with room temperature water, you can simply use a normal glass.
Thanks, exactly what I was looking for. Changing part of the filter was super intuitive (because there’s an arrow saying open and close in the machine itself) but couldn’t figure out why the RO and CF light stays 😑
Hi please follow the following steps: 1. press rest button for 3 seconds 2. as the CF lights is flashing, press reset button again for three seconds 3. after the CF light stop flashing, CF filter has been reset. 4. long press reset button again for 3 seconds, then simple press it once and it turns to RO filter (the video attached for it is around 45 seconds) 5. then press it for 3 seconds again. The reset for RO is completed.
Of course, you can. Please check out our blog at www.simpurelife.com/blogs/blogs/simpure-water-filter-for-refrigerator-ice-maker. Alternatively, you can contact our customer support at service@simpurelife.com.
Try searching the web to get an idea of how to plumb the RO membrane housing which one is the good water which one is this shit water and how do they hook up to the high low pressure switch valve hickey thing for some reason not one dang reverse osmosis system installer will talk about Theus and this is where you’re at or drinking poison water or you’re drinking or a water why is it such a secret on how this works
Nobody talks about the switching valve installation. I guess they’re too damn scared because hooking it up wrong means drinking Clearwater proposing water. Thanks for the useless video.
Hi Ricky, thanks for your great suggestions. We'd love to update the info later on. If you have any questions or need assistance with RO Water System installation, please feel free to contact our support team. Thanks for your time.

Hi there, of course! You can have the T1-400 UV RO System in your apartment under the kitchen sink. It is super easy to install and saves 70% space under sinks. But if you're renting the apartment, we suggest you buy our SimPure Y7P countertop RO System, which requires no installation.
