These old units are fantastic. However, fully modernising such a unit will cost an absolute fortune and if you are not Thai it will be very difficult to project manage. In addition, for such a large unit you are likely going to be paying insane money in common fees for which you see very little in return. If you want this type of size better go for a pool villa.
