Depends entirely on the situation. If you haven't been spotted yet the best move is to get a nice position and mount the bipod. For example M1NDR has already killed 2 fully geared guys whilst using the bipod today
@@ItzMikeDocherty to put yourself in a negative position of not being able to move is basically suicide when all the other person has to do is remain on their feet and hold “ctrl” to get a lazer like shot all while standing up.
@@WhoIsJohnGaltt Like I said....if you haven't been spotted. You can easily use the bipod to setup a good position. You can take your shots and stand up in less than a second if you need to...like I said its just situational. But you can use it effectively if you don't just dismiss the idea
@@ItzMikeDocherty there is no way i would EVER do this if i can just be in the standing position and do the same thing by just pressing "ctrl" to get a lazer like shot. all while being standing and able to move immediately the only way this makes sense is if the gunplay was harder and the hold "ctrl" didnt instantly give you beam like aim point and click gunplay just makes this ridiculous and on the same level as larping
Hey, sorry but the mod is very broken these days. It stopped receiving support a long time ago and a lot of features are either very buggy or just completely don't work. There's not really any solution for most of these things other than to just keep trying until it works...(or it doesn't) 😅
i own an IJ-18 chambered in 54r for hunting IRL, if you think your character in dayz takes forever to reload, lemme tell you that he's actually very very fast given the situation
I said that and i think i have figured out a way myself. I have two monitors so I tab out of the game, move my cursor over export before clicking back into it, once in i then hit enter and can close the dialog box and see my cursor
atleast the son might actually be happy. Hopefully letting other people be happy too :) also...what is "arcadey" about adding a new weapon and spray paints for other weapons?
and what do i have to do if the editor alway crashes for absolutely no reasons ^^ Im frustrated at this point with the editor. Status_Acces_Violation is the error
@@ItzMikeDocherty like i cant even start to set something up, because when i enter a character or leave him or spawn an object it crashes and everything is gone again. But i want to make cool thumbnails so bad :(
@@SlimDayZ The only thing I can recommend (when you are setting up a screenshot) is to turn your view distance way down to like 100m in the editor settings. And then also turn your in game settings as low as possible. And then when you are ready to take the shot, turn everything back up. Other than that there's not much you can do...its just very broken these days : (
Was really loving this server, seemed hardcore but had some new things. But the night time only lasted like an hour and didn't even get dark. Good server still but idk why you'd put hardcore in the title and then wimp out on the night time.
Because dark night time has many downsides to it. 1- Most people dont like it, so the server loses pop and has a harder time filling up consistently through the day 2- the server interactions just straight up die during dark nights, anyone without NVGs just sits walking around doing absolutely nothing 3- on the rare chance that there is some PVP interaction, most people just disappear into the dark and never come back 4- people abuse NVIDIA filters to get a drastic sight advantage over people who dont use it <3
@@ItzMikeDocherty Ah yeah that's not been my experience but I get it, if the server dies there's not much else to say. Though I've had some super memorable interactions during the night on official, I like the ability to escape, and I thought when it was truly dark(not the brighter moonlit nights) that turning up your nvidia filters didn't do much? I wouldn't know because I don't cheat lol. Still, awesome server, finally made it to Tisy last night. Thanks for the response. Feels a bit rude to ask but you wouldn't happen to know of any true vanilla community servers? Been tough to even find solid servers like yours, the DZSA server list only accounts for like 1k players, and steam says 30k players are online?
I have no idea unfortunately mate. You can always download the offline version and play single player, but I don't know if there is still multiplayer servers. There might be 1 or 2, but there wont be any player pop really. This was a pretty big "event", it has died off since then
Legacy gunplay needs to come back. For slightly better gunplay in current dayz you can look for servers running S-gunplay mod. It isnt Legacy but it's so much more satisfying than the vanilla Arcadey feel with bullets laser pointing to center screen while hipfiring or being able to insta-spin 180 holding a SVD after fully running out of stam and still hit anything. I just wish more servers ran with s-gunplay.
I agree. Legacy gunplay was the soul of Dayz. After 2018, the game lost it. Its still okish to play but its more like an easy pointy shooty now. Such a shame what happened to Dayz. I know its had great stuff added to it and is far more stable but without the legacy gunplay it lost its hardcore immersion. They wanted to make it more simple to attract a larger player base.

Hi, unfortunately the editor has been extremely broken for a long time now. The mod author seems to have abandoned the project and there is currently a lot of things which don't work / cause crashes :/
