Is Ville so arrogant laughing when Lauri started? I think it's a rather strange feeling that he's not the only one on stage singing, in addition singing in a completely different voice, more energetic and warm in contrast to his coldness / maybe intimidation, maybe less confidence?? Maybe someone doesn't know, but The Rasmus was the support for HIM's 2002 concerts, so didn't Ville see this potential in Lauri and his band? I doubt it, besides Ville followed their songs, of course Lauri and his band too, and certainly those from the album Hide from the sun from 2005, so he couldn't underestimate them. If he knew them, he couldn't be arrogant about Lauri and his work. The Rasmus used to be like underdogs to HIM, but is it here on this stage? rather respect and this strange feeling that such a small band has gone so far beyond their native country, or maybe also feeling the song, which is about competition for a woman, but also on singing, popularity, this healthy stage rivalry, which in those years just was 😁 Sometimes someone laughs cause of stress or adrenaline and I think that this smoking shows it. Well I dont know too much songs of HIM and its my choice cause I really dont like Ville's very low voice, but it doesnt mean that I dont respect him as musician writer composer. Saying that he is laughing cause of Lauri in my opinion is like a sign of arrogance towards Lauri's and his band's work, so just respect each other ;) I dont know but for me Ville sometimes looked like an arrogant on stage from few performances which Ive seen , but I think that its only my impression I dont know him so he can be different but its just his appearance, no one has to like it f.e. me 😁
They said big and small brother met together, but this small brother isnt big now in this song and Hide from the sun is masterpiece I love you LAURI ❤❤❤ Ville s voice is disgusting in this song OMG too much low 😞 sorry but i dont like it really ☹ he better sounds higher
Good that Valo still has the voice 😄 Well I cant imagine how people can want his very low voice now when he is not smoking and is older? Is it possible? but anyway for me he sounds better higher. In this song Bittersweet I just cant put his voice in my heart its not singing for me, but well its just my opinion.
Lauri's painfull voice is killing me softly over and over again, on other side Ville's voice is so calming my bleeding heart.. This resonates so well!!! I've never heard better performance!!! Namaste <3<3<3
Gorgeous. I’ve seen apocalyptica play twice In Los Angeles and it’s stunning to see how incredibly gifted they are. Also wish they would have brought the eternally gorgeous Ville Valo with them. He sounds as good as he looks.
When I first started listening to HIM back in around 2004-2005 I really wasn't a fan of his live vocals. It took me some time to actually enjoy but boy when I did.... what was I thinking. Still listen to HIM every week.
