Chess is a game Charles could never lose at if he simply read the minds of his opponents. Yet he has the integrity to not do that and beat them fair and square.
I really missed the DC logo from 2005 but I also missed the logo from 2012. The 2016 logo looks good, but I feel like DC should make a new logo for their 80th anniversary in 2025.
this show sucks. Adam West and Burt Ward did a better job. An the attention to detail was bad too...At 5:51, Alfred calls Robin to tell him that Vale is "still here". ..Robin tells Alfred he will take care of it abd :get rid of her"....then Robin uses other phone to call Alfred back...and then Alfred goes to Bruce. WTF? why did they need to switch phones? And then Robin apparently gets out of his Robin Costume and into regular clothes, just to get back into his Robin outfit
No professor x is based of David Ben grunion Israel’s first prime minister and magneto is also based of an Israeli prime minister’s menachem begin. Stan Lee has never said that and Chris Claremont the man who developed the x men the most has said they were not.
@@460masthat’s bs. They scrubbed the interview where Stan Lee states it. For decades this has been his inspiration everyone is aware of this. Even Death battle referenced this on Magneto Vs Tekirou (whatever his name is). You’d have to be around. Most you kids just Google some bs and run with the first thing you read. This information isn’t just something made up because it was cool. Everyone knew as X-men came out around civil rights era and there was an interview where stanlee himself stated this. They scrubbed that shit though. But there’s many article that also reference the quote he made about it.

I think for the mutants they need both an Erik and a Charles out there. What’s the saying, hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Charles and the X-men inspire humanity not to be afraid of us or turn against us. Erik and the brotherhood warns humanity of the consequences if they do turn against mutants. Charles is the carrot and Erik is the stick.
This is actually a pretty good representation of what the stories in the Batman comics were like at that time. Too bad it didn't feature the Joker, I bet they could have featured the most awesome version.
Eric saw the genocide of the holocaust. A lot of his character is based on the fear of that returning. He witnessed humans exterminate other humans with machine like precision. It was only natural he feared that Same fate would befall mutants. What's sad was that he turned into the thing he despised most. He adopted those same attitudes and beliefs that made the holocaust possible. He figured it was better to strike first than to risk being on the receiving end all over again. There are no answers to something like that. If Xavier were a Russian or Ukrainian who endured the war, he would struggle to find hope as well. It's a brilliant movie looking back now.
I use that line of “I feel a great swell of deep pity to the poor souls who come to that school looking for trouble” when talking about my home defense.
A movie serial website said that ACM had been re-released as "The Return of Captain Marvel", implicitly cut and patched together as a feature length film. Is this the same?
When Erik interacted with one of the chess pieces he could not pick it up properly and he had to do it twice. It shows that he is just an old man who relies on his gifts more. I know its obvious just wanted to comment something.
