I don’t think there ever was any “racial reckoning”. There was a summer of riots, then BLM absconded with all the money and didn’t actually do anything for black people. Then everything went back to the way it was before. I don’t think we accomplished anything. The corporations are now firing all their DEI human resources staff and the citizen review boards for police incidents have been gutted or disbanded all together. And most of these things happened after Trump left office, so don’t hope for Democrats to help. Biden barely even met with BLM and when he did, he was totally dismissive of them.
