Ivar went too nuts to be likable in my opinion.. Props to the actor, I LOVED his interactions with Ragnar, but I threw my hands up when Ivar got a "hero's death" when his character didn't deserve it. Being kind to a kid didn't change his character.
I've said this so many times and I hands down without a doubt think these actors/actress are the best I have ever seen. Such devotion to each their own
Ragnar = mythical / legendary historical figure (king arthur for the vikings) Ivar = genuinely existed, founder of two kingdoms, and all around badass that people outside of historical circles, think is fictional
I actually loved all the actors but I must be honest and say Ivar the boneless was my favorite Viking.. and he played the part so amazing and I still watch Vikings over and over and allways see something I’ve missed 😊
Lazy writing and a mistake many writers are making in series these days when a much loved character dies is "oh no we cannot replace him, it must be different now". No, F that. Bjorn and ubbe were more than capable of filling that hole left and did to some extent but the writing did not do them justice and wtf happen with floki? Probably the second most loved character in that series and it felt like you abandoned him.

Estou assistindo os vikings...gostei muito, depois que o Iva cresceu e se transformou nesse guerreiro fantástico me apaixonei...amo vê lo..tomara que ele demore muito na série.. não gostei da morte de Ragner..ele estava ensinando o Iva, muito legal isso.
