Thanks for the video. I am really thinking about picking up a 2022 Ryker Rally. A local dealer has several they never sold on sale for $7999 here in Washington state. Kind if caught off guard when you showed fuel mileage. Shocking lower than i thought. Had a vulcan 900 which is same cc engine. I got nearly 60 miles per gallon. Got 45 on my 1500 vulcan. Expected more from these. I get 28 in my Hyundai. Im guessing if you mod these a ton you will get absolutely horrible gas mileage. Anyway, yeah i have never even ridden one. But $8000 price tag from a brand new '22 is hard to ignore. I want the rally because i ride a DRZ400 offroad on the BDR's. Im getting older and want the worry of dropping my bike all by myself. I have watched a ton of videos on the rally and think it will suit me perfectly. Add the 3 inch lift kit and dang. Sounds fun....as far as seats. Look at Fishersaddlebags.com i am sure they can make you an awesome seat. They can make great seats for dual sports. Or you can always go to an upholstery shop and have them make you one. Just pick out your foam density and then pick the color of your seat you want and any upholstery shop can make you an awesome comfortable seat for really cheap. They just need your seat pan.
Did you test drive the new 2024 HD RG before being the Goldwing ? The Goldwing is a fabulous ride. However, I sold my 21 RGS for a 24 RG and it is like night and day;
I did not get a chance to ride it and according to all the reviews I am certain it is amazing. I just don't want to spend crazy money on accessories anymore and my 21 RG is nicely done for my taste. I will be keeping that one.
I was searching for Rinehart info, saw the video stuck around so the new bike and congratulations brother. Now I’m following to see the updates. My suggestion keep the hardley just in case if you miss changing gears lol
I used a galaxy fold 3 I think it was. But I have tried it most galaxy phones and no issues. I don't see why any of the A series will be any different.
Congrats, I ride a 2019 RGS and thinking about getting a new bike later this year, its a choice between a Goldwing DCT Tour or a 24 Roadglide... keep switching between each... guess I will have to wait and see what happens when Im ready to buy. The think that keeps pulling me to HD is storage as I like the bag designs on the HD better, also like footboards better than pegs....I know you can get boards for the GW but they are much smaller than HD's
Congratulations on the new bike. I had black metallic and had no issues with fine scratches. Nice looking Road Glide! I know which one you will be riding more now. If you are not changing the seat, Utopia back rest, and Gold Strike highway pegs. Hint for that ATL traffic - Econ mode to ease the throttle, and manual shift mode to shift when you *need* to, not when the bike wants to.
Thanks buddy, I am so happy to see you back at it. I got a new number, I was in Houston 2 weeks ago and called you but you probably didn't recognize it. Next time I come up I will let you know or vice versa let me know next you're in the ATL area. You ain't lying this does feel like a Caddy. LoL
Congratulations on your new wing . I have the exact same bike. I can tell you the dealer did not follow prep procedures if the bike only had 1 mile on it. The Tpms sensor light is common on many of the 2024 wings and there is a procedure the techs do to fix it. I added the Goldstrike hwy pegs, Helibars and backrest. You have one of the best bikes made. Enjoy! I live in Woodstock if you ever want do some riding. Brian
Brian, thank you for watching and yes you are correct the dealer did not do much of anything other than wipe the bike off. I am in Acworth next to Woodstock and we should definitely ride. I am a part of this FB group called NAMG (North Atlanta Motorcycle Group) and I ride with a few people within that group, good bunch of people. A lot of rides start from the QT on HWY 92 near 575 and Goodwill. If you want connect on FB and we should meet up for a ride just as soon as this crazy weather gives us a break. Zia
Thank you for watching and yes I will be doing one soon. Will be taking this to Sturgis in a couple of weeks so I will definitely know more about the bike.
I think it wld be cool if you cld get the windshield with something like your vision prescription in it or one that has like a binocular/zoom in/out feature for ppl who may have low vision🤔, a bioptic windshield
@RideAboutNow lol i wld imagine so..or it wld also be cool to have a transitional windshield tint, one that darkens in the daylight or high sun, then goes back to normal as it gets darker outside just like the transition lenses
The plastic "legs" broke on my Sh36 first time mounting it on my bike. Sent it back to Shad and they denied warranty. Let's just say I'm not very impressed.
I removed the cat on mine and not only decreased the heat in the engine and for the passenger but it sounds mean. It breathes better I have the same pipes. I love them, Enjoy.
I work for a motorcycle dealer and we get these traded in frequently. I think maybe people want a bike and think this is kinda the same thing and realize they still want a bike. I own seven bikes and bought one of these a couple years ago that was traded in. It was only 1 year old with 1500 miles on it. My gf always wanted one and she loves it. I enjoy it (when she lets me ride it) but it’s definitely NOT a motorcycle. I call it a summertime snowmobile.
Technically it is a motorcycle, a trike not a bike I guess. But still fun machines. Now the Slingshots and anything 3 wheeled with a steering wheel shouldn't be called a motorcycle.
Thanks I already have Chrome works louvered baffles on my 114 but I just bought a 2010 Street glide 96 I was wanting to hear what ripper baffles sounded like I guess I'll try them in this '96 and air cleaner tuner to wake it up Thanks again for your video.
I had to put the can am away bar in to stop the dartiness. I don’t have the Ryker anymore but yes when I had it I was used to it. Even did a road trip to Miami from Atlanta.
Great video brother enjoyed your content. Like this with dealers all over the world very few people now want to give service. Once they have your money it’s bye sucker
Love the videos! Considering starting a channel when I get my bike. Any suggestions for start up in relation to camera etc? Being from Newfoundland, the scenery will be breathtaking.
I am purchasing my brand new 2023 Ryker 900 Sport next week, so excited! Watching your videos from Newfoundland, Canada. I am trying to see how you are charging your phone as you ride? This may be a stupid question, but I have t seen my bike yet as I called the dealer and said have her ready for me next week, lol.
Congrats! I added a usb charger to the Ryker connecting it to a battery and bringing the wire to the handlebars. You need a SEA connector to usb connector. Amazon is full of them.
Love the ripper sound but you lose to much torque. I tried the louvered and they are awesome. My builder recommended the performance baffles and my torque went up even further. The trick with the performance baffles is you gotta crack the tab open 25%. They sound amazing and perform amazing.
