The myth of Synthetic brush knots, not holding water, is complete BS! The only way that water can’t hold its position is if there’s some type water repellent involved.

Nice shave Manny! I don't think I've smelled that L'Orange Noir before, sounds pretty good. I have one of the 21st century formula and the soap doesn't smell exactly the same as the splash, not sure why though. That's weird if your getting the Platinum scent from your soap, makes me wonder about the Italian Citrus set you got. 🤔 Anyways, have a good one man! Steve

Great shave Manny! Did you like the new base better or do you think the triple milled version is better? I remember seeing a video of yours many moons ago 😂 lol and you were using Stirling Soap Co. “Stirling Clubman”. Was that soap closer to the Clubman Pinaud? I have “Clubguy” by PAA and it’s pretty close to the real Clubman Pinaud scent..
Hey brother, sorry I’m just getting to your comment, I’ve been really busy that I totally forgot! 🫤 Not only that, but YT has been acting all kinds of stupid lately! I prefer the triple milled version hands down! This new Fine base is not bad, but it just can’t compete nor compare to the original formula! And as for the Stirling, I didn’t like it, I didn’t smell to me like Clubman, it was extremely heavy on the Anise or Licorice. Maybe I’m over exaggerating because I don’t like the smell nor taste of either! 🫢🤢🤮😵💫🥴 I have it back to someone who did like though.
Great shave, Mr. sir! I can't believe that was using plate #2 of the Rockwell. We didn't get to see the trimmer on your whorls this time. I am very pleased that the 21st Century soap was successful. It lather better than I expected. I guess you'll have load more than the old formula. Today's blade is one of my favs. I hope your battery is okay, and the issue is the charger/cable. I am elated you have returned to producing episodes, Mr. Sir! I am equally pleased you decided to give both Santa Paula, and Merkur's trimming razor. I have tried Chiseled Face in samples, but I haven't tried their after shaves. The soaps perform very well; reminiscent of Tiki Bar soaps. I got a way better shave from Williams which is a grocery store soap that was only $2.50. Not to mention, Van Der Hagen! Great looking shave Manny👌 The Progress is a great adjustable, unfortunately I had to move mine on because I find it difficult to shave with razors over 80gm these days, jest getting old😜 my only adjustable now is the lighter Yaqi TFC. Have a safe trip brother👍🤠🤟

I'm glad you stopped working long enough to film a shave. That being said, I am more grateful you chose sleep overall. Your sleeping hours are just as -if not more important as your waking hours. Proraso red is perfect for this time of year. I just wish the splash had at least a couple of hours of longevity. The sandalwood note is very calming, yet imparts mindful brain activity. I used Fougere Gothique today. I don't know what to tell you about attending a baby shower, but be safe. Please extend my regards to your wonderful family.

@@SoCalShave the little bar is a body bar. I don’t remember which one I put in your box. What color is the bar? If the soap is brown it’s a pine tar soap, green it’s coconut cream and lime, and if it’s golden it’s a turmeric and lemon soap.The soap in the container is the shaving soap, and I put a little card in there with the scent notes and ingredients. I pleased to see the legendary Fougere Gothique make an appearance. That fragrance celebrates Hallows eve so well. The autumn tinged complexity is perfect for the season. I was also glad to see the Haircut & Shave Co. razor once again. This was too long a wait for another episode, Mr. Sir. Badass lather. I am impressed a synthetic can hold that much water. Manny, I have been wanting to try that scent! I love barrister and Mann products, I wasn’t able to purchase it the first year it was available and then after that I was making videos and noticed that I had mostly B&M products and never purchased another one afterwards. I understand about the not remembering which products work best for you, I’m in the same boat. I also find myself wanting to do some product reviews and then I realize that all of my products are antiquated either not produced anymore or the base formula has changed. I’m sorry to hear the you are waiting on bad news. I hope that whatever is going on goes as well as it can. I’ll be thinking and praying for you manny.
