Buy a legendary rc car, spend 50 bucks to upgrade the important parts to metal, and you have a seriously reliable beast for a fraction of the price compared to bigger name brands.
worst review ever! I cant see NOTHING! how could you not think about the color of the drone vs the back woods that dont let it is see at all..... Totally fail
most disappointing RC toy I ever got when I was a kid. The batteries lasted about 8 minutes and took 16 hours to recharge. The skirt always tore on the rear outer corners and cost $50 to replace. I smashed it to pieces one night because I hated it.
The only way to fix it is to get the better gearing . Zip teeth gone 😂. I’ve seen it happen all the time in vids but not to the upgraded gears . What’s work g with them cheap asses
Didn't these use up the batteries super fast? A friend of mine had one and it was disappointing at how quick the battery went dead, got like 3 minutes of run time.
Horrible drone. Scared the crap out of my son. Refused to respond to the remote. Went into toilet bowl spin then crashed, refused to turn off, cut my hand removing the battery just to get it to power off. Returned it immediately
Oh boy for the same model for himself I decided I wanted to teach myself how to fly since it was just collecting dust wow two Days in and one of the propellers no longer working properly, here's what happens when I get it up and ready and ready to fly I turned the motor on and all four propellers spin and then one of the B propellers will just shut off also when it's off only three of the propellers spin when I turn them by hand
I never actually owned one, but those things are one of the iconic images from my childhood... between the TV commercials and a buddy or two owning one, I wanted one sooo badly, just never got one. But when I think back on my childhood, the Typhoon Hovercraft is one of those toys that just screams 1980's. I love it so much!
Nice review! Good comment about these cheap E88 drones "taking off and keep going" when signal to controller is lost. Yes many of these drones are "runners". But not all E88 drones behave like this, I have bought few of these E88 drones over time and some E88 drones do power down when they lose signal from controller. Easy to test - just power up the drone, and hover near by and power down the controler. It's wild, you never now what you will get with these E88 drones because they are manufactured by so many different companies
Yes it's pretty unbelievable what you can actually get a remote controlled drone with camera for $15 ( or even $10 if you look a bit). But this review is pretty realistic, not negative.
I bought 4-6 different mod 1 gears. Was so sick of busting teeth. I upgraded to the mod 1.5 gears and no longer have to worry. They are definitely louder but worth the reliability
Problem is with 1.5 mod you just move the weakpoint to more expensive harder to fix parts. Tons of guys bash on included 46T gears and never have issues. Don’t land on throttle. Don’t use self right. Use motor washers. Mod 1 should be fine if mesh doesn’t move
