I'm an amputee just living life as close to normal as I can with one leg, but I'm still loving life and not slowing down. With this channel, you'll see my boy Groot with me chillin' and hanging out. You will see a few things like hiking, camping, scooter packing, exploring on the scooter, but there is really no telling what else we'll get into. It's always a surprise, even for us. I hope you join me for the journey we are about to share with you.

Hey, what's up!!! I hope you're enjoying your new ride and of course I don't mind. It is called the Trail at the Woods. It's connected to Connemara Meadow Nature Preserve. Off Rollins Dr and Alma Dr
Lol, you know I'll be causing by all the old hangouts. 🤣 I still have my speed quads, and I actually laced them up the other day. Bro, let me tell you how strange a skate feels on a leg you can't feel. I felt and looked like a baby deer learning to walk.... 😆
What's up!!! Hopefully, we can ride together sometime soon. There's a group of guys I ride with on the weekends sometimes. I'll have to let you know when we ride
I enjoy visiting the downtown areas, like at 15:15. You can usually find a nice family-owned restaurant or a unique store selling things you've never seen before. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, CF!! I'm trying to step out of my comfort zone and try some new stuff and play a little more, hoping it might help. I'm glad you spotted the difference
That football game on the tennis courts before school got a little rough sometimes haha. Sad to see Carpenter go but change is inevitable. Thanks for stopping by there.
Lol, it sure did! Ah, the good ol' days.... when we didn't need pads. Bro, that one is closing, and Armstrong, where my brother went. What's happening? Are they going from elementary school straight to high school now... where's middle school going? That's all I'm saying. I know they aren't doing that jump from school to school, but I don't know where the other middle schools are. Lol, I know things change, UT you never think about the schools closing. Thank you for watching. We're going to miss it, but we have the memories
Weldon, love the content. The videos would be better without that wolf whistle. 😉 Even some electrical tape in those handlebar corners will kill that whistle. Keep riding buddy, and I'll keep watching
Thank you, bro, I really appreciate that. I have been looking for the holes like you told me about so I can fill them. I haven’t been able to find them to fill them.
@theweldonator The top bar connects to the lower bar, there is a hole in either "corner". If it's hard to see, maybe use a small flashlight. Once those are covered or filled, no more whistle. ✌🏽
Just think of a t.... I was going straight down the road, and they hit me from the side, pulling out. Losing my leg was the small part of the accident. I died at the accident and then died again on the 3rd day in a coma. Thank you for asking, I'm glad you did. I never mind explaining.
Thank you!!! Yeah, I did get some after-market blinkers. I wanted to be a little more visible to the cars. That tinted rear taillight doesn't help. It looks really good, but I want the cars to see what I'm doing. It'll help with our group ride, too.
You can fix the whistle you get in the videos. Its two little holes in the corners of the handlebars. I filled mine with hot glue. No more "wolf whistle" as im calling it.
That's definitely close to 65mph! I'm sure the tire size, tire pressure, and other variables can get you over 65 mph, no problem. Plus, you can strap a couple left-over bottle rockets to the back next time and light them up for an extra boost!😉
Lol, yeah, it is. It's definitely fast enough for an electric scooterpacking. Don't get me wrong, if it could, I would love to go faster. Lol, that's the only way it would get to or over 65 mph. Voro makes them that goes 70+, but I'd rather them give me one of those. I think it's over $7,000, and I'm not putting that much in a scooter. Maybe one day they'll send me one.
@@theweldonator I remember seeing someone go into the settings and turning it up to 100% power, which made it faster. But I don't remember what type of scooter it was. 63.4 is fast enough for me in the city😸
Oh yeah... I stand 95% of the time. I only sit when my good leg gets tired. I only sit for a second just to give my leg a break from the torque. But I will say... I'm not positive you can stand with the other swat due to the base being wider. With mine, there's plenty of room since the base is small. It's the original seat, not the new one they sell now, but they carry both versions. Let me know if you have any more questions. I'll do my best to answer and if I don't know the answer, I'll go to who knows.
@@theweldonator That was at my Sk8 Park, "Rapid Revolutions" formally the Jeff Phillips Sk8 Park. It was at Stemmons and Northwest highway in Dallas. I owned and operated the park from 1992-1996. All of the fottage in the videowas from Rapid Revolutions.
I never knew you owned a SK8 park. Sir, every time I speak with you, I learn something new that you did that is completely awesome! Can't wait till we talk again.
I have a Skydio I can bring if you want more drone scooter riding footage in the future. I also have the DJI FPV drome, and a Mavic 3. But the Skydio is the best for following a rider autonomously.
What's up Charles, how are you doing? You have a nice selection of drones to choose from. Isn't the Skydio the new one that recently came out? Small, square profile with the frame around it? If it's the one I'm thinking about, those are really cool and yes, for following, they are the best.
Loving the vid, we’re the PMT’S hard to install? I want to put them on the GTR but I don’t want to deal with a long down time. I have PMT’s on my Varla Eagle One and they are awesome.
Hey bro really enjoy the vids, a lil tip to bring more viewers, hashtag in your video discriptions to open your audience up. #wolfking #kaabo #electricscooter #escooter #amputee #escooter # your city #escooter #escooterlife #escooterlifestyle etc.....
Yo, thank you for the tip, and thank you for watching!!! I'm out right now, but as soon as I stop, I will definitely be adding that to the description. Thank you, bro
6:48 So the parked truck must have been with the guy cutting up the road? I'm glad he wasn't heading straight for you! I had to look again because of the video thumbnail.👀
Lol, yeah, Hoblitzelle Park is a very strange name. I'm not sure of the history of it, but I know all of this used to be farmland. It might have something to do with that.
Nice ride and some good tunes, Weldonator! Really cool you have another new fan asking about your🛴 That car at 4:27 scared me for a second. No blinker, brake lights on, thinking they'd probably turn left, but I've had them turn right too.👀
Lol, yeah, there's a lot of that out there, unfortunately. Thank you, the music is what takes me the longest to choose. It's nice when people ask questions and want to know more about the scooter. If I don't know the answer, I will definitely go ask someone who does know the answer and get back to them. I never want to give out bad information.
Welcome back! Happy to see Season 5 E1 up. The route is pretty crazy lol. You really need to have your head on a swivel + ride defensively with the mix of sidewalk riding, main roads, high speed roads, bike paths, and suburban roads 😱
Thank you, Ivan! Yeah, I figured it was finally time to start putting up seasons and episodes. I was trying to wait till next year or my anniversary date to start, but I said forget it.... this video is the one, and we're calling it Episode 1. Even though I'm quite a few in already, who cares.... right? Yes, you do! These people will run you over around here and not even think twice about it.
Bro, I went back to my videos to see if I was correct on the season. Go figure, I'd have to edit my title to S4. I felt so positive I was right. Lol, that's what I get for not checking.
You definitely can. It took me 2 years to save for it. Have you looked at the prices for the refurbished ones? They are a lot cheaper and also redone by Voro, so you know you can trust it. I believe you can still use my discount code for it, so that's another $50 off there. Also, don't think you have to get this one... the others in the Kaabo line are bad to the bone! Don't forget about the EMOVE line. The roadrunner is a bad boy, too. Seriously though, go check out the refurbished ones. They are reasonable to get started
They are holding up nicely. I'm actually loving them and have decided to continue to stick with them from here on out. Oh, they grip so well on the turns, and I'm able to lean more like when I rode a motorcycle. Overall, there are night and day differences. Honestly, they have a little hum to them. In the description, they were considered racing tires. I get that because they kind of remind me of the race tires I ran on my Trans AM. I'm definitely in love with these tires. Thank you!!!
@@theweldonator Wow Thanks for the quick responses! I was afraid I exceeded the number of questions allowed for this week. lol Take care sir, looking forward to the next video!
Thank you @mikE_6-28!!! All good now, I just finished changing both tires. The plan is to get out there and make a video tomorrow. I'm pretty excited because these are completely different tires than I've been running. Should be interesting
I'm glad you finally were able to get out and ride after about 2 months of mostly rainy days. I suppose it will take some time to remove all the broken limbs. Can the tire be repaired?
Thank you!!! I was too until the situation happened. It's all good, I knew better than to go through there. I should have walked it instead. It has the self seal in it, and it always pushes out the plug. I'm going to change it tomorrow for work on Thursday and do the front Friday. I'm changing to a completely different tire, so it gives me a reason to do both at the same time.
Bro, so sorry for the flat, you handled it like a champ, could you have plugged it and continued the ride? You loaded the King gt in the car so well, good job! Good thing you didn't lock the scooter down where you can still fold it up when you need to!
It's all good. Lol, thank you. My pump was out of battery for some reason, I had the same thought and bummed when I saw that. Now I can put the PMT's on.
Hey, what's up @MARKLINMAN1!? No, I haven't. The Pro is so stable out of the box that you definitely don't need a steering dampener. It's more for aesthetics than anything. Smooth as glass, bro. If you decide to get one, use my affiliate code theweldonatorsamputeejourney, and that will get you $50 off. I've had NO issues with it, and it has 1600 miles on it now. I've had it since last December. You definitely won't be let down with this scooter. Ride That Tasty Wave
that was a great video! the chill pace of the first part in contrast with you tearing up the second part was really nice. It's pretty insane how fast those cars are going if you're doing 40+. Those winding trails seem like it would be so fun to skate on!
Hey, thank you, Ivan!!! Lol, yeah, the cars around here definitely don't play around with their speeds. They like to get to where they are going fast. The trails are a blast on the scooter, they would have to be fun on a board, like a slalom feel, I bet.
