I have a picture of you from back in the day i think you were aerial from the little mermaid? If i remember right. Was back in 2019 or 2018 . I took last year off but will be there this year . The ending had me rolling 😂 you can normally catch me at all the raves sometimes .

I use rhinestones on silk all the time, my favorite method for silk is Gemtac, e6000 has discolored silk in the past. You can use hotfix just so a test on scrap fabric to get used to how much heat the fabric can take

Thank you, I've been fairly open about my mental health as I was making Glinda and I think it would be a disservice to the community if I left out the mental gymnastics I went through to actually wear the thing and share it with the world 😊 and wearing it at this event really allowed me to minimize the negative self talk about the costume and just wear it too share it at C2E2
I really wanted to go to this but it conflicted with a work conference *and* traveling to see the eclipse that week so I had to miss it, hope they offer it again!
It was a really great event! I'm sure they will hold another one but probably in a different location. I think their goal is to host different ones in different locations.

It took me 2 years because I can't just dedicate over 1000 hours only to making this costume, I have to work so I can pay bills and buy fabric and such 😊
You should submit your dress design to MGM for a future movie or Broadway. You would make a great cast designer. You need a great deal of patience to sew such details. Great job girl. Keep on sewing
I don't think I was required to speak any French, most of the French people knew English. I did greet people with Bonjour and Bon Soire and if I ran into someone I'd say Pardon and I said Merci to thank people but that's just how I treated everyone in Europe. I learned small common phrases just to be respectful.
