The state that has encircled Russia and China and seeks to destroy them to maintain it’s global domination, even if it means sacrificing millions in a world war. That spends obscene fortunes on a war machine and filling profits margins while its people go homeless, without healthcare, suffer corrupt, violent militarised police, with crumbling infrastructure and corrupt politics. A country that has promoted separatism and extremism in competitor countries, has trained and funded fascists, from islamofascists in the ME to Nazis in Europe. A country that runs one of the most powerful and criminal terrorist networks on earth, the CIA. A country that applies mass surveillance to it’s own people, persecutes journalists and whistleblowers, that condones and uses torture.

I always said Chomsky wasted his entire life educating Americans. Nothing changes, indeed. I remember when Barack Obama came to Greece and lectured students about American democracy, Liberty, and Justice for All. We all laughed at Obama and asked him if he liked the American movie Planet of the Apes. Because the American characters do a great job portraying Monkeys. "Holocaust victims were told that they would be "resettled". In Cyprus Greece 1950-70s. The British and Turks perpetrators of genocide dig up the Greek mass graves, burn the bodies, try to cover up the evidence and intimidate the witnesses. They deny that they committed any crimes, and often blame what happened on the victims.
