the eva foam I have on me isnt textured but it is Very thin, has anyone tried this and been successful? I feel like it would hold shape better but I'm worried about lining the edges up to glue the pieces together

hey Will ! Great template! I just picked it up on Etsy. What sized dome did you use for this build? i ordered 16" globe with an 11" opening. sound right?
Yeah i gave that a shot a few years ago. they cut better, but they have a nasty habit of breaking though, so once i ran out i just switched back to razor pens.
Question: Do I Thread the fishing line through all the holes as in one single line and loop back or three separate lines through each of three holes then hot glue the ends to the end of the tail?
